My experience at Motor Match Bolton could have been better. I discovered faults with the locks and windows immediately after purchase. I tried to be understanding and patient but when I raised concerns about the car not locking and the risk of it being broken into as they couldn’t fix it right away, I was told I would be liable as I had left the car unlocked?? Communication has not been great throughout, and I’ve had to chase repeatedly for updates. I also had to insist on arrangements for transport to work, was given a dirty courtesy car, and had to argue about the courtesy car having no fuel for me to get home in. It has now been over a week since I collected the car and the faults are still unresolved. Overall, the experience has been stressful and disappointing. I am normally very understanding, and this review could have been completely different if I hadn’t had to keep chasing for updates and pushing for basic arrangements to be made.
Motor Match Bolton were great because they did not push us into buying anything. We were able to look around the cars without hassle. When we were ready we asked for more information. Again no pressure to purchase the car. The team were all friendly and very helpful, Charlie in particular. Would be happy to buy from here in the future.
I'd recommend Motor Match Bolton, recently had the pleasure in dealing with Charlie and purchasing a used vehicle, as we had a specific vehicle in mind we were reaching out to numerous dealerships and Charlie at Motor Match was by far the most professional and accommodating to work with. As we were distant buyers, Charlie made sure all our questions were answered, and we received personalized video's of the car we were interested in. As we only wanted to make the trip to the dealership once everything was in place to drive it away after we have seen the car in person and had a test drive. Every step of the purchasing process was stress-free and smooth, with no pressure to buy if we were even the slightest bit unsure. We drove away in the car and are very happy with it.
