I'd suggest Vertu Škoda Derby to a friend because I had a good experience with Ryan Edwards at Vertu Skoda Derby. Looking for a used car, I visited the local dealerships along Sir Frank Whittle Road. Popped into Vertu Skoda and Vertu Renault. Had a good chat with Ryan at Vertu Skoda. Vertu Skoda had a Fabia I was interested to test drive. We organised a date with Ryan. We test drove the Fabia. Really nice small car. Very smooth gear change and was similar to my first car. I decided to put a deposit on the car and to come in for a second test drive. Sent Ryan Q’s to ask about the car when I got back. Ryan was knowledgeable and filled in my Q’s. We had a second test drive and I asked more Q’s about the car. Again, Ryan was helpful and knowledgeable about the Fabia. Popped in to make payment and pick up the keys. It was a simple process which took a couple of minutes. Very happy with the Fabia. Would like to thank Ryan for answering all my Q’s and making my first Skoda purchase a positive experience. Some ideas for Vertu Skoda HQ. It would be great if Vertu Skoda also offered some apparel like the tour de France green jerseys or gillets. This would be great for the gym or visiting friends. Having parked the car safe in the garage, Skoda could also offer some expertise in keeping your new car safe and offer to fit electric garage doors for customers. Another idea for Vertu Skoda to consider is to set up an online customer dashboard. You could be prompted through the dashboard when you need to check tyres, have a service or mot. This info could be kept on the dashboard and be printed out when you’re selling or part exchanging the car. This would keep you up to date and also let you know when to book new appointments for tyres, service and mot. A positive experience with Ryan Edwards and the team at Vertu Skoda Derby.

I have no problem with the initial selling of the car. However, I do feel that as soon as the documents were signed and you had a sale, I felt that the attention dropped off. 1. When picking up the vehicle I was not given the attention I would have preferred. On that day, you were having a promotion event. Staff seemed to want to rush through everything, kept disappearing to empty their car for another colleague, talking to other colleagues. I got no proper sit down to go through all the controls as advised in the email I received from you the day before. 2. As part of the deal, it was agreed that mats would be provided. On picking up the vehicle I was informed they were in the boot. When I got home, I found that you have provided old, tatty and muddy mats out of another vehicle and I had no choice but to throw them away and buy new ones from Halfords. I was told that you would compensate me but didn’t hear anything when I sent you proof of sale for the new ones. 3. After picking up the vehicle, it became obvious that no mechanical checks had been undertaken pre delivery. If they had been, it would have been noted that all the tyres were massively under inflated, causing the warning light to come on soon after. One of the tyres was 15psi. 4. I also felt that staff were too concerned in me giving a 5 start review on Google. My star rating, if I did do one, would be a 1
