FULL SERVICE HISTORY!!
I would not recommend CarSupermarket.com Birmingham because although the sales service (and salesperson Joe) was good, the subsequent experience with the service centre was terrible. The car was advertised as having full service history, but I noticed that the most recent service carried out had not included replacing the spark plugs as required every 36000 miles on a Mini Cooper. I agreed to have these replaced free of charge the following week, as well as an air-con regas. Come the service day I drop the car off, only to get a call back about 90 minutes later to say the wrong spark plugs had been ordered, and that I would need to rebook another time. The car was regassed, but this still felt like wasted time - a 45 minute round trip for me and my partner, twice. I then bring the car in another day for the spark change, which on a Mini is a 30 minute job - and that's being generous. I was told if I arrive at 8.20 I would be first in and the job would start straightaway. Fast forward to more than 2 hours later the car is still on the ramp, and only after checking with the service team twice why it had been so long, it turns out that the technicians were also re-gassing the air conditioning again, completely unnecessarily. The job card hadn't been updated to show this was completed the week before. A further 30 minutes pass before I am handed my keys back and the car is driven round ready for me to take home. I received no apology, and said as such to the person I was dealing with - that although mistakes can be made, there was no one there taking any responsibility, nor anyone that actually attempted to make you feel even remotely valued as a customer. If you are buying a car from here, I believe it is possible that you can have a good experience. However, make sure you don't need to come back for any servicing, get this done elsewhere!
I would not recommend CarSupermarket.com Birmingham because I was sold a car which I was told had heated seats and steering wheel, but didn't, and it felt dangerous to drive on the motorway so I took it back a few days after collection to find out the discs were warped and needed replacing. Although they did this, it should never have been sold in that condition. I've bought two cars from there, first car was fine, second was not. They dont check their cars thoroughly. If you buy a car from there, really test it fully before the 25 days is up or it'll cost you to repair it!
My experience was amazing. John Ly made the whole process so easy and smooth. I couldn’t recommend it enough. We came out with exactly what we were looking for within our budget. The car is perfect for our family. Thanks again for making what can sometimes be a stressful process so simple!
The experience at CarSupermarket.com Birmingham was fantastic because from the moment I arrived and found the car I was interested in the staff were very efficient at giving me all the information I needed as well as my part exchange quote. Adam went above and beyond in giving me all the information I needed as well as explaining it all to me. The fact that I could collect the car the very next day was impressive and proved what a top quality service is given. I would definitely recommend car supermarket and Adam to family and friends if anyone was interested in purchasing a new car. Thanks again for your help with everything!
