Just purchased an Audi RS6 Performance Carbon Vorsprung from Paddy at Acklam Cars for \xa3106k. They advertised the car as only having 2 previous owners but when I received the V5C I find out that I am the fourth owner despite the car only being 28months old. Therefore it had THREE previous owners and not TWO. They also advertised the car as having a FULL AUDI service history with an extended Audi warranty until 2027. I then find out that this is another lie as the first service was carried out by a Jaguar Land Rover dealer in August 2024. This is over four months too late as it should of had its first service in April 2024 when the vehicle was 12months old. Audi UK have informed me that the warranty on the engine is now useless due to the first service being so late as they will put any engine problems down to oil starvation due to the very late service if I try to make a claim. This matter is now in the hands of my solicitor due to the false advertising and lies from Acklam Cars.

I came across Acklam Cars and Richard (Rich) Ellyatt purely by chance, having made a ‘random enquiry’ on seeing what seemed to be the most well specified and priced vehicle of its brand anywhere, despite this vehicle being 300 miles away. From the moment, I chatted with Rich on the phone, his enthusiasm, professionalism was outstanding, so I pushed on by sharing my situation, my thinking about the car(s) I had to trade and what I was thinking to which, OMG, in the space of 15 minutes, having forwarded photos, Rich presented me with firm pricings on a part exchange . A company not to trust. I bought a 1yr old Porsche 911 Targa 4S with less than 1500 miles on the clock. i relied on their pre-delivery inspection report. I should have got an independent one, but due to the age of the car I didn't. There were two buckled wheels. Filler has been used to make them look straight and then painted over. I missed it completely in the showroom. The car drove straight despite the bent steering rack. This only came to light at 2900 miles on its first service 12 months later. Acklam sold the car when not roadworthy and due to the period of time that had passed deny all responsibility.

A great experience all round, from watching the excellent youtube video of the car, the communication from all team members involved, price negotiation, payment and prompt delivery of the vehicle. I highly recommend Acklam cars. A breath of fresh air.
