1 Previous Owner, This lot will be auctioned via Historics Classic and Sportscar Auctioneers at The Pace of Autumn; Ascot Racecourse sale on Saturday 20th September. Excellent, ex-chauffeur driven car from JapanComprehensive service history translated to EnglishThe Jaguar XJ Super V8 is a luxury performance saloon, which blends British elegance with surprising muscle. Produced from 2003 to 2009, it features a supercharged 4.2 litre V8 engine delivering around 400bhp and 0-60mph acceleration in just five seconds. Built on a lightweight aluminium chassis, the car offers a refined yet agile driving experience, aided by adaptive air suspension and a smooth ZF six-speed automatic transmission. Inside, it boasts opulent materials, including soft leather, wood veneers, and high-end tech like a premium sound system and optional rear-seat entertainment. Despite its understated looks, the XJ Super V8 offers serious performance, combining classic Jaguar charm with modern engineering. It's a discreet powerhouse which appeals to those who value comfort, prestige, and effortless speed. This example was originally supplied to Japan and was retained by a single owner, who used the car as a chauffer driven car, until around 2023. Unusually for Japanese imported examples, this Jaguar is supplied with an extensive service history, which has all been entered into a neat list in English for those who cant read Japanese. The record shows 20 services including important maintenance such as an air suspension overhaul in 2019, lower suspension wishbones and lower valley coolant hose in 2020, a parking brake module in 2021 and a replacement headlining. It is very common for this era of Jaguars to be imported from Japan as their condition tends to far exceed those examples found in the UK, and they have often lived a cossetted life. Supplied to auction with an MoT test certificate valid until August 2026. Consigned by Fraser Smith
