This lot will be auctioned via Historics Classic and Sportscar Auctioneers at The Pace of Autumn; Ascot Racecourse sale on Saturday 20th September. Highly sought after manual gearbox. Good service history. The Ferrari 360 was manufactured from 1999 to 2005 and succeeded the F355. It is a mid-engine, rear-wheel drive and V8 powered coupe. Ferrari partnered with Alcoa to produce an entirely new, all aluminium space-frame chassis that was 40% stiffer than the F355. Along with a lightweight frame, the new Pininfarina body styling deviated from traditions of the previous decade's sharp angles and flip-up headlights. The new V8 engine utilised a 3.6 litre capacity and, despite what looked like, on paper, as modest gains, in reality the power to weight ratio was significantly improved. The first model to be rolled out was the 360 Modena, followed later by the 360 Spider and finally, as a special edition, the Challenge Stradale. This superb and desirable manual gearbox example is presented in California Blue with black leather interior and has a dark blue hood. This Ferrari comes with a very good service history with many stamps in the Service book and with the benefit of having a full service in 2024 which included the wheels being refurbished and all brakes done etc and the cambelts were renewed also in April 2024 (all invoices can be seen in the history file). The car has been used sparingly by the present owner and garaged but it has always been serviced regularly and was in long term ownership (18 years) previous to this present owner. An iconic and staggering beautiful model with the rare addition of its manual gearbox, giving the driver the ultimate experience one should expect with a Ferrari. Consigned by James Good
