The mechanic tried free/cheap fixes first. Unclogged the jet wash instead of replacing it, used cat clean first when emissions failed. I really appreciated that as it kept costs down on my MOT. I took my car here, bc I took my other vehicle (Vauxhall vivaro van) to a different garage, they tried to scam me for \xa3900+ for breaks??, took it to another garage, they were good. But then when there was a small crack in the ball joint thing, they tried to replace the whole suspension arm until I told them I couldn't afford it. So with my little car, I thought I'd try a different garage & third time lucky!!! Nobody tried to scam me just for being a young woman. Thank you and much appreciated. I've already recommend them to friends

Bought a 15 plate Peugeot 308 in March 2025. The whole experience was good. No pressure sales, they let us go on a test drive without needing a staff member to accompany us and they gave the car a cam belt change, service and MOT before we picked it up. We were very happy with it then after about 3 weeks the front driver side coil spring broke. We called them and they said to bring it in straight away so we did. The part was ordered and the mechanic gave us a lift home. The following day the repair was done and we were back on the road, less than 36 hours total. There was no cost to us as it was covered by the 3 months warranty and importantly no arguing over it either. I can't recommend Lodge Hill highly enough and I will be going straight back there next time I'm looking for a second hand car. Top service from professional and friendly staff, and the price was competitive too!
