The Porsche Cayenne Turbo S is a landmark vehicle that demonstrated Porsches ability to combine luxury, practicality, and supercar-level performance within the SUV segment. Introduced as the range-topping variant of the first-generation Cayenne, the Turbo S built upon the success of the standard Cayenne Turbo, pushing boundaries in both power and capability. At its heart, the Cayenne Turbo S housed a 4.5 litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine. Producing an impressive 520bhp and 530lb-ft of torque, it was the most powerful Porsche road car of its time. This immense power allowed the Turbo S to accelerate from 0-60mph in just 4.8 seconds, an extraordinary feat for a full-size SUV weighing over two tons. With a top speed approaching 168mph, it redefined expectations of what a luxury SUV could achieve. Power was delivered through a six-speed Tiptronic S automatic transmission paired with Porsches sophisticated all-wheel-drive system, ensuring excellent traction and stability in all conditions. The Turbo S also featured massive brakes and adaptive air suspension, which gave it handling characteristics far superior to most other SUVs of the era. This blend of performance and control earned it a reputation as both a family vehicle and a drivers car. Visually, the Cayenne Turbo S was distinguished by subtle enhancements, including unique wheels, discreet badging, and aggressive yet refined styling. The interior emphasised luxury, with premium leather, advanced infotainment for its time, and comfort features befitting its flagship status.Originally supplied by Porsche Colchester on 1st September 2006, this Cayenne Turbo S comes with the original service books which shows 17 service stamps. The last one was carried out on 15th April 2025 by a respected marque specialist. The vendor has advised us the battery will discharge after a couple of days and keeps it on a trickle charge. This Cayenne is finished in metallic grey with beige leather seats, aesthetically this is an imposing SUV that certainly has presence. Reporting to drive well and taking into account some age related wear and tear, this Porsche could well prove to be a bargain. Supplied with a V5 registration document, an MoT test certificate valid until 27th November 2025 together with a good history folder and a spare key. Though initially met with scepticism from purists who questioned Porsches move into the SUV market, the Cayenne Turbo S silenced critics by becoming a commercial and critical success. Today, it is remembered as the model that proved high-performance SUVs could deliver both utility and exhilarating driving dynamics without compromise. Consigned by Stewart Banks
