Maybe being a bit harsh here. But I haven't received the excellent service that this garage appears to be known for. Main issue is when they gave me a price as a price on its own for some work on a car I'd bought from them, then when I came to pay the bill they added VAT on to it. Potentially a genuine mistake, but that doesn't help me or my wallet. Most of the rest of the experience is just the same as any other garage. Saying they've helped you out, when in reality they're helping you out with the service that they should provide as standard. Just rang up to utilise my free service from the 'Jackpot' deal, I asked what was carried out during the free service, and it's just the oil and oil filter, nothing else. I would go as far as saying I wouldn't even be sure they'd use the standard of oil/filter that the car requires and it wouldn't surprise me if the free MOT test would fail with costly repairs. With all this in mind and the distance I'd have to travel for the free service/MOT, I have chosen to service the car myself (which I did after shortly after buying the car) and having a local garage MOT it, then I know a Full service will be done correctly, with all the specified parts and that if the MOT does fail, it's genuine and any repairs won't cost over the odds to repair and I don't be stuck 26 miles from home without a car.
