My experience at Vertu SEAT Carlisle could have been better because normally on brand new car day you are excited about the day but the day of collecting my new car was a total let down for several reasons ie ; very poor handover on the main road outside the showroom , the valeting was dirty the salesperson had to take my new car back to valeters to finish off the valeting. It was 20/30 minutes before it was brought back , in that time I was waiting I wasn’t even offered a cup of tea/coffee . When the car came back I think the handover lasted five minutes like I said outside on the main road where lots of cars were driving past regular . I didn’t get the full handover information of the controls etc of my new car , it knocked the shine off my day , would you be happy if we’re picking up your new car and the control pedals were covered in muck the crossover threshold was also dirty . The two previous cars I had prior to my new CUPRA Terramar were both brand new and both times I enjoyed the new car experience, but unfortunately this time was a massive let down . The first thing I suggest is that the new should be properly valeted not have pedals , sills etc , 2/ carrying out a handover on the main road with cars going past causing distractions and unable to hear properly the handover process , 3/on the day there seemed to be too many customers collecting their and the sales people rushed the handover so repeating again the feel good factor of collecting my new car was non existent .
