I would highly recommend Baylis Gloucester to friends and family because they are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the car that I was interested in. Sven gave me enough time to view and test drive the car. There were a few minor things that needed fixing before I bought the car and it was fixed before I collected it. Their customer service has been exceptional to date. Sven was very professional and I would highly recommend buying a car from Baylis. The car was hoovered, and clean but it did have a few drinks marks splattered on the backs of the leather seats and in the cup holders but I quickly cleaned that myself. I know that if I had pointed this out to Sven, he would have got this sorted for me. The outside of the car was squeaky clean. Overall, I would highly recommend buying a car from Baylis in Gloucester especially from Sven. I would like to say a big thank you to the team at Baylis for helping me find the car that fitted my needs and want list!!

I would not recommend Baylis Gloucester because the salesman was really helpful when buying the car. As soon as we decided to have our money back this changed. Firstly he said give us a couple of days to sort the squeak out. We’d already done that. How many couple of days do they need. We were told ‘we’ll put our best man on it, indicating technical staff are inept. The salesman was quite rude and stated ‘ I could have sold this car twice over’. So basically Baylis are happy to sell faulty cars, which is a good reason not to buy from them. It took us nearly an hour to get our money back, which included the manager being called, probably because she had to approve. Since having our money back, we’ve had an email with details of our warranty and this survey relating to my purchase, that never took place. So therefore there is a real lack of communication between the salesman team and the documentation team.

My experience at Baylis Gloucester could have been better because they didn't fill my car up with fuel despite charging me £30 for fuel. I rang the garage and they never got back to me. I had to wait for 2 wheels to be replaced causing me to have to delay picking the car up by a day. I also asked on several occasions about the drive belt and was lied to repeatedly being told it was a chain and that they had checked with technicians it was a chain. I got my car home checked the service book and it has a drive belt, which they said they would have had to change before selling the car and I'm now going to have to get it changed at my expense! The 2 new wheels were also fitted on different axles of the car. I will think twice before buying a car from here in the future.
