Jim and the team were nothing but courteous and allowed me and my son to browse and drive the lovely Pagoda 280 for as long as needed. They dealt with a couple of issues without hesitation and prepped the car wonderfully when we came to collect. It’s pleasing to know there are still conscientious and professional companies out there not just wanting to take all your money for average vehicles. The quality of vehicles they offer are impeccable and I would be more than happy to deal with 4 Star Classics in the future and would 100% recommend them if you’re looking for a classic.

A 5 star performance! 4 star recently sold my car for me. They were efficient, professional, friendly and secured a good price for my car quickly. They even sent me copies of their photoshoot pictures - which is a nice memento of a car that I was sad to have to sell. I would very happily work with them again.

Professional and trustworthy modern classic experts. I contacted 4 Star to sell my beautiful BMW E46 Convertible. The whole process from start to finish was incredibly structured, smooth and hassle free. 4 Star are very particular about the cars they take on. A full evaluation of the car and the history was conducted before an appraisal by their independent workshop. Only then will a car be offered for sale. Very comforting for any prospective buyer. We agreed realistic pricing which we were both happy with and the car was prepared for sale to a very high standard. My car sold fairly quickly and the agreed funds transferred to me the next day. The new owner now has a very special and pampered BMW that genuinely is as good as it looks. Perfect. If you are buying or selling a special modern classic I can highly recommend Jim and George at 4 Star.

Incredible service buying an e30 BMW. George in particular was super helpful and replied quickly and insightfully on all my questions. Furthermore, they were very helpful and cooperative in shipping the car all the way to Qatar and had even sent the history paperwork via mail in a nice folder. All in all an excellent service that gave me peace of mind the whole way through

Absolutely fantastic from start to finish - Jim, then George on collection are really friendly and professional; we travelled from South Yorkshire to Surrey on public transport so they kindly filled the car up with petrol on my behalf. The car was immaculate upon collection, the detailer gave me some tips on 'Bead Maker' so I could not have been happier. I am thrilled with the Lotus Evora and I wouild definitely use them again and would highly recommend

Jim and George were really honest, helpful and easy to deal with during my recent purchase. The web site photos and description were very accurate and I wasn’t disappointed in any way after travelling 3hrs to view/buy. I would definitely recommend these guys - they have some great classics too. Thanks.

0 Previous Owners, FOR SALE: Incredibly well preserved, Gotti wheels, 3 owners and only 20k miles from new, signed by Jean Ragnotti. VIEWINGS WELCOME BY APPOINTMENT ONLY /// ADDITIONAL PHOTOS AND VIDEOS AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST. EQUIPMENT: Red paintwork, Sand beige cloth upholstery, 5-speed manual transmission, 15/16-inch Gotti alloy wheels, Turbo 2 side decals, Original Iso-Delta leather steering wheel, Electrically adjustable driver's door mirror, Digital clock, Cibie Iode front fog lights, Devil-style stainless steel exhaust, Cevennes 4-into-1 manifold, Cevennes heat shield, Additional cooling fan, Spare wheel, Luggage straps, Battery cut-off, Spare keys. EXTERIOR: We are delighted to present this rare and original 1983 Turbo 2, a true 80s icon and one of the all-time great hot hatches. Having driven only 20,223 miles (32,546 km) in the hands of just 3 keepers from new, this stunning example is amazingly well preserved. It has never been restored and quite remarkably it still wears its factory-original red paint. We are fortunate to have owned and sold a number of high quality R5 Turbos and Turbo 2s over the years, but this is without doubt the most original we've seen. The car further benefits from desirable Gotti 75BA split rims, 7.5x15" at the front and 9x16" at the rear, as fitted brand new by the second owner in 2009. Having always been carefully dry stored away from the elements, the underside is also notably clean with no rust or damage to report. The bumpers and roof trims retain the correct Gris Bronze satin finish, and purists may also appreciate the lack of a passenger door mirror - exactly as it left Dieppe back in 1983. Jean Ragnotti's autograph on the tailgate is the final flourish. INTERIOR: As with the exterior of the car, the cabin is first-rate. The sand beige cloth seats are very well presented with no marks or damage, only the usual wrinkles and creases commensurate with 42-year-old Renault velour. The carpets are also excellent and original; a small amount of age-related discolouration is visible under close scrutiny but of course this only adds to the charm and feel that's so easily lost when cars are restored. Further evidencing the very low mileage, the Iso-Delta steering wheel is perfect with a deep grain to the leather and almost no marking to the spokes. The headlining is also factory-original, as are the rear luggage straps and parcel shelf. ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION: The car has just returned from a full £8k+ shakedown and service with our trusted R5 Turbo specialist, so she's ready to be driven and enjoyed. In addition to this work, some nice period mods including a brand new 4-into-1 stainless Cevennes manifold, Devil exhaust, and a larger intercooler were also fitted. The engine bay is expectedly clean and tidy, and reading through the accompanying paperwork it's clear to see that the car has always been well maintained with quality parts sourced from reputable R5 Turbo specialists. HISTORY: This beautiful low mileage example was registered to its first owner, Madame Marie Imbert, in July 1983. It remained under her care until 2008 when it was purchased by its next custodian, Monsieur Chambon, with 27,000 km showing on the odometer. Now with only 32,546 km (20,223 miles) under its belt, the car is offered for sale for the very first time in the UK, freshly serviced and fully registered with all taxes paid on arrival into the country. Within the accompanying documentation, the lucky new owner will receive the original Renault document pouch and Turbo 2 owner's manual, spare keys, a thick raft of maintenance invoices, various ownership papers, and the current V5C registration document. By now most Turbo 2s will have been fully restored after slowly falling into disrepair. More often than not they will be finished in the incorrect paint schemes, be overly modified, have poorly retrimmed interiors, or a combination of the three. As classic cars are only original once, this magnificent T2 is a particularly rare find on the market. A surely unrepeatable example offering the perfect blend of original character, thrilling performance, and low mileage. Please visit our website for a full write up and additional photographs. FINANCE and EXTENDED WARRANTIES available. Worldwide shipping is available on request. VIEWINGS STRICTLY BY APPOINTMENT. For updates of new stock please join us on Facebook and Instagram.
