✅ Google Review (Conversational, Community-Oriented) ⭐ Rating: 1 out of 5 stars 🗓️ Date of Experience: July–August 2025 Review: I purchased a Peugeot 3008 GT Hybrid (LO21 CWL) from Cargiant on 2 July 2025 at 45,323 miles, with assurances of verified mileage and a complete service history. Unfortunately, within days, multiple faults emerged including engine and parking brake warnings, a non-functional 360 camera, and later, serious concerns about the vehicle’s maintenance. Despite being told there was “no right to return,” legal advice confirmed I had a 30-day right to reject under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. I gave Cargiant two opportunities to resolve the issues, including a week-long repair period where no courtesy car was provided, and app data showed no activity until the sixth day. Post-repair, faults persisted. A Peugeot health check revealed a worn tyre (replaced at my cost), and my independent assessor found deteriorated spark plugs, clogged oil, and filters inconsistent with the claimed service history. A diagnostic report showed 8 current DTC issues, and an outstanding manufacturer recall was never flagged by Cargiant or Peugeot. I’ve incurred \xa3135 in replacement parts including \xa370 for a tyre, and diagnostic fees continue to rise. I’ve formally rejected the vehicle and requested a refund, but resolution is still pending. I expected better quality control and transparency from a dealership that advertises thorough inspections. I hope this review helps others make informed decisions.

There have been lots of problems since I bought the car. First day, the car had flat tyre. They put a pump in the baggage and they knew it had flat tyre. I bought extra insurance from them. Normally, the insurance company, cargiant working with, need to pay the diagnosis charge (it’s clearly written on the contract). They refused to pay. I called car giant to get help, they said:” we sold the car and it’s not our concern.”

People! People! Even though you are seeing genuinely negative comments with customers facing issues from them, you are still buying from them. Then just don't blame the company, we are trying to warn you and you still wasting your hard earned money here. Nobody is going to come and save your money and time if you yourself don't want to save it.

What an awful place to try to buy a car. The staff at the entrancewere completely useless, they were unhelpful, didn't know where the convertibles were located, didn't know where the hybrids were located, and could only recommend that I walk around blankly. Absolutely pathetic.

Phoned up for details on the history of a car they had for sale. Said they would get back to me, called up again and was told they would follow up with the internal team and come back to me. Nearly a week later no phone call so bought a car elsewhere. Well done guys!

Came to see a car about a month ago. The condition of the car was terrible. Had scratches everywhere and body panels were loose. I understand I’m buying a used car so it’s not going to be in perfect condition but this was just too much. And the car was priced way over the market value. I was the first person to see the car and it was not even cleaned. And then if I wanted to test drive the car I had to buy it???? Spoke to the manager about fixing all the scratches and the alloys since they clearly weren’t in good condition. He said there was nothing that they could do. Terrible service in my opinion. I ended up buying the same car for almost 3 grand cheaper from a main dealer and it was in a much better condition that what Cargiant was offering. Definitely worth having a look elsewhere before you buy from here.

Loads of cars to choose from. There is no guidance where each car is. Just gotta find someone and ask. Would have been great if there was like a guide or sign of where the make of cars are. Also the prices on each car are higher than normal for any local dealers, at least \xa32,000 more depending on the car. I liked a car but it was priced at \xa33,000 more. So I didn't get it. I could get a similar one somewhere else with a warranty for less.
