I would not recommend Baylis Gloucester because the salesman was really helpful when buying the car. As soon as we decided to have our money back this changed. Firstly he said give us a couple of days to sort the squeak out. We’d already done that. How many couple of days do they need. We were told ‘we’ll put our best man on it, indicating technical staff are inept. The salesman was quite rude and stated ‘ I could have sold this car twice over’. So basically Baylis are happy to sell faulty cars, which is a good reason not to buy from them. It took us nearly an hour to get our money back, which included the manager being called, probably because she had to approve. Since having our money back, we’ve had an email with details of our warranty and this survey relating to my purchase, that never took place. So therefore there is a real lack of communication between the salesman team and the documentation team.
My experience at Baylis Gloucester was cracking because the staff! Ryan sold me a car and he was amazing. When i picked up my car i was greeted by a lady, i think her name was Chloe. What a lovely young lady! Bubbly and smiley! Couldn’t have asked for a nicer greeting after getting a car! She definitely heightened the customer experience
My experience at Baylis Gloucester could have been better because they didn't fill my car up with fuel despite charging me £30 for fuel. I rang the garage and they never got back to me. I had to wait for 2 wheels to be replaced causing me to have to delay picking the car up by a day. I also asked on several occasions about the drive belt and was lied to repeatedly being told it was a chain and that they had checked with technicians it was a chain. I got my car home checked the service book and it has a drive belt, which they said they would have had to change before selling the car and I'm now going to have to get it changed at my expense! The 2 new wheels were also fitted on different axles of the car. I will think twice before buying a car from here in the future.
Sven the Salesperson at Baylis Gloucester was a real help, we initially had issues, but Baylis were excellent and sorted everything out. Really good dealership and very friendly. We bought from Baylis all though we live 150 miles away. They had the car and colour we wanted
Baylis Gloucester staff were good because they listened to us. We weren't rushed or made to feel that we should be spending more. My indecisiveness was met sensitively by James, who didn't rush me at all but allowed me time to peruse, sit in and test drive the vehicles. We are very pleased with our purchase. We had our puppy with us, who the staff tended to kindly.
