MOT JUNE 2026,£20 ROAD TAX
Poolstock Car Sales Limited
116 Poolstock Lane Wigan WN3 5HL
Wigan
My husband bought a car off this garage about a month ago. What can I say…..had a couple of problems with it within a couple of weeks of receiving the car. Had spoke to poolstock cars and arranged to get it fixed. After getting the car back it still wasn’t fixed so he spoke to them again. This time the guy at poolstock was very unpleasant towards my husband who just wanted a car that ran okay….nothing spectacular! The customer service he received was awful as he was told he was being an awkward customer and got shouted at down the line just because he wanted the car fixed or a refund to which he was told he would have to go through solicitors for. Never have I come across such terrible customer service in my life. Please be aware of who your buyer cars off as everyone has different experiences with people!

Tried buying a car from here. had the money ready to buy knowing the car wasn't in a good driving state. I was willing to take it away there and then. was told car wasn't on the lot but was at a garage down the road, promptly given a business card for said garage and conversation quickly over. went to garage at 14:30 same day but they were closed? rang pool stock about it, no real interest and have no idea when the garage they use is open or not. told to try again next day as they would defo be there. went down the next day on Saturday for when they opened to no avail they were still shut and was met there by another 'valued customer' who was also ushered off site to come see the vehicle in question. rang the sales up again to ask the question and once again they have no clue when it can be viewed and just fobs you off telling you to try again the next day. not a single care in the world even when you're ready to put cash in their pockets. so if this is the treatment you get when buying a 'spare and repairs' or 'no strings attached' type of vehicle just take a minute to take that in and think what it would be like buying a vehicle you're hoping to travel around in for the next however many years! also worth nothing on the phone they're very dismissive and if you mention anything they don't want to hear IE questioning price they will become more dismissive and try get you off the phone as quickly as possible while barely listening to you and talking over you. choose wisely if you want to buy a car from here

Went today to see a car advertised for sale now 5k might not seem a lot to a car salesman but it is to your average working person, the car we went to see on inspection had a damaged bonnet catch on arrival and we were told they’d not been able to open it but we could try?? Online history told us it’d been sat for 2yrs and it showed with cobwebs under the bonnet when we did finally get it open. So we looked at another car (6k) got given the key and the car wouldn’t unlock as the battery in the fob was dead. How can you make a decision on a car that you can’t even open and start, no effort to change the battery to make a sale? We even said to the guy usually a key is stored in the key fob to open doors and voila it was and he said well you learnt me something and this is from a carsales man? 🤣 It also had poor mot history lol we just walked away, young girl was on her phone didn’t seem to know anything about the cars they were selling. Best avoided as god knows what they’d be like if there was a problem, I did ring before hand to say we were travelling up which I’m annoyed about that we wasted our time as you’d think they’d of made the original car went to view presentable before we got there! Proper Del Boy dealership. Went to a main dealership on the way home for a browse whilst we were out and bought a car for 13k outright their loss. Don’t waste your money on these guys no second hand car is guaranteed but these will certainly shaft you in aftercare
