Hyundai i20 2017 - 1.2 S 5-Door

I would not recommend them to anyone, I was warned to keep away from them by someone else who had a bad experience, but I decided to trust Barrie, big mistake! They advertise the majority of their Subaru JDM Widetrack cars between 21-23k, which is strong money, and given the condition a total insult. You expect to be getting the Grade 5 car they promise. All cars leave in Grade 5 condition according to the owner Barrie, so it doesn't matter what grade they come in from Japan as they get the 5 star treatment. Barrie likes to use words and phrases like "trust me" and "there's nothing bad to show you." The car was inspected at his premises, which is some 300 miles away from me, and certain things were spotted and noted, but nothing that really put me off. That was to change following purchasing the car and driving it home. The list below is some of the issues with this "nothing bad to show you" car. What a lie! Ripped Carpet Drivers Footwell Worn ARB Bushes Faulty Remote Key Locking 2 x Water Leaks Broken Exhaust Kerbed Alloys (Painted Over) Dents in NS Front Door Overspray Car Not Cleaned Internally Missing Bolts From Scoop Lacquer Peel on Carbon Scoop Rock Hard Jap Tyres DCY did send out a new set of ARB bushes which I fitted myself and a Cat 1 Alarm Sytem to overcome the remote key issue, but wouldn't cover the cost of having it fitted, all he kept saying was "it worked when you left" even though it was tempremental on his forecourt and failed completely within a few hrs of leaving. Fortunately, I was able to get my money back from DCY. It took several weeks and the start of a legal process, but there was no way this person was going to get away with selling such a poor quality car. I have now found a much better car, which puts his grade 5 car to shame. Be careful out there, guys! Photos and copies of WhatsApp mesages are all available to anyone who wants to see them, but of course, there are two sides to every story - normally the truth and a set of lies.

Purchased a GTR that was described as great condition 12 months ago. I’ve done 5,000 miles in the vehicle and nearly run it every day. Not a single issue at all, which was surprising considering the vehicle is nearly 30 years old. Me and a friend had it on a ramp for a decent inspection and couldn’t find a spec of rust to knock it on. The car hasn’t missed a beat since purchase. Can’t say how much over the moon I am, it’s a true garage queen and not a chance I’m ever going to let it go. She’s with me for life! That said, there are a couple of things that have caught my eye recently and I’ll be very much considering getting her a sister 😬 Highly recommended!!!!
