Partial Service History, Words fail me. I remember selling a few of these almost 35 years ago when these were sold as new cars. This has been converted to look like a WW2 WILLYS JEEP. And is best described as an EVOCATION. This started out as a Mahindra Indian that has been converted into this US ARMY Look-Alike. Mahindra is an Indian company that originally use to assemble CKD Willys Jeeps kits that were sent over from America and then progressed to selling their own version which was designed for the local conditions. Tough, simple and fitted with a slow easily repairable 60 BHP Peugeot derived 2.1 DIESEL ENGINE with a 4 speed manual gearbox. Progress is best described as leisurely although to be fair with NO DOORS, NO ROOF, NO AIR-BAGS, NO ABS, NO POWER STEERING, NO TRACTION CONTROL, JUST 4 SIMPLE SEATBELTS I don't think any sane person would want to exceed 30 MPH. Authentic from a distance and properly done and dressed this makes an affordable way to live the GI Dream cheaply and in Devon. Has been part of a collection of 4x4 classics since 2021. Has had WAXOYL protection. Hilarious to drive, not as uncomfortable as it looks, although a rudimentary driving experience. Supplied with the roof-frame although no canvas roof, all the dress details and will be serviced with a fresh new mot on sale. PART-EXCHANGE POSSIBLE.
