EXTERIOR: The Polar Silver paintwork looks fantastic on this wide-body 996, and with a subtle ice-blue tint it's a refreshing change from the standard silver hue found on many other examples. Looking closer around the C4S the body remains in excellent shape and at the front end the headlights are crystal-clear with absolutely no cloudiness or discolouration. Both sides of the car are nice and straight, the alloy wheels are virtually unmarked, and the rear lights and reflector panel are also spot-on with no signs of moisture ingress. There is an honest dusting of light frontal stone chips and a couple of small marks on the rear bumper but it's a brilliant example overall, ready to be driven and enjoyed. INTERIOR: The black leather upholstery contrasts beautifully against the silver bodywork and factory-spec'd aluminium interior trim. Over and above the standard C4S offerings this one also boasts the desirable hardback sports seats option, a body-coloured centre console, and a chunkier steering wheel with rear-mounted paddles for improved gear change operation. The dash, door cards, and rear seats are also trimmed in black leather and again everything presents to a very high standard. The centre console and switchgear are free from any significant marking, and we're glad to see the original Porsche CD player still fitted and genuine Porsche mats in the footwells. ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION: This low mileage C4S has been well maintained from new with regular servicing by Porsche main agents and notable marque specialists. The current owner is quite meticulous over his pride and joy and has even carried out additional oil changes in between visits to Paragon who have looked after the car since 2020. Also in 2020, the C4S was treated to an IMS bearing upgrade and rear main seal replacement along with a few other items; this work was completed by Precision Porsche Specialists. There is a thick stack of paperwork accompanying the car documenting everything that has been done over the years. Most recently it has been checked over by our trusted classic car garage who were pleased to report a clean bill of health. HISTORY FILE: Originally supplied by Lancaster Porsche in London, this C4S was first registered in October 2002.
