The Clio has been Garaged for 5 years and Its had 4 previous owners, the last of which owned the vehicle since 2013. A huge amount of mechanical prep has gone into the car to ensure its upkeep: New cambelt kit and dephaser pulley fitted Nov 2024, injector, battery, clutch, wheel bearing, Two new front coil springs, spark plugs, HT leads, ignition coil, starter motor, ABS sensor with receipts for all the above. The car has 9 service records in total the last of which was completed only around 100 miles ago. With regards to condition the alloy wheels have been refurbished by the Wheel Specialists in Leeds and the bonnet has been resprayed (photos available of the bonnet before spraying to show it was purely for stone chips) As you can see in the photos there are a couple of small parking dents that could be easily rectified. Specification wise the Clio comes with Cup pack interior, Cup pack wheels, 60mm Cup front hubs plus all the usual equipment for a 182. I have dealt with Toby, Simon and Richard for years. I have always received exceptional standards of work from Richard. He’s one of a very small handful of mechanics that simply carry out their work correctly the first time and to a very high quality. He repairs what’s needed and gives professional advice as to what is necessary. Toby, I can say I regard as a friend. He bends over backwards to help wherever he can. He speaks to you honestly and gives you the best advice possible.I imagine Simon is very proud of what Toby is accomplishing with the family business. I always trust Scotton garage with our families cars and never have any doubts that the problems with them will be remedied in a timely fashion and correctly the first time at a reasonable price. I have over the years used other garages to my cost and immediately return to Scotton garage. Don’t bother wasting time and money elsewhere. Purchased a car from this garage and about 2/3 weeks later I noticed some small drops of water coming from the water pump. So I contacted the garage and they replaced the water pump for me free of charge under warranty and even gave me a courtesy car! I can’t recommend this garage enough. They always go above and beyond and their customer service is second to none

Wonderful wonderful service from the guys at Scotton garage today. I had broke down and although the mechanics were really busy they managed to come out to me and get my car started again, they said before they came that they didn’t think they’d be able to get it started and it might only be able to be sorted by the dealership, but I asked if they could just try. Purchased an FB Mondial 125cc from Toby and he couldn’t have been more helpful. He was really knowledgeable about the bikes he had in stock which helped me to make my decision. He made sure I had a fuel tank of fuel to help with the journey back and even gave me a bracket for my L plates and fitted them for me. Couldn’t recommend enough.
