Our first experience of buying a Mercedes car at Mercedes Chelmsford was a pleasure due to the salesman Frazer Diver. Frazer paid careful attention to our wish list and found the perfect car. I would give zero stars if I could. My experience with Darren and this Mercedes dealership has been nothing short of unacceptable. I first booked a car to view over the phone and received a same-day confirmation. When I arrived, the car turned out to be in an undrivable condition—completely unprofessional and a waste of my time. I returned a week later for a scheduled test drive at 2:30 PM. Despite arriving on time, I was left waiting for 90 minutes before anyone saw me. There was no communication, no apology—just complete disregard for my time. When I was finally attended to, Darren’s attitude was rude and aggressive. He called both me and my father “ridiculous” simply for attempting to negotiate the price of a used car. His behaviour was completely out of line and showed a clear lack of respect for customers. To make matters worse, I paid a \xa3200 deposit in May to reserve the vehicle and was told it would be refunded within 48 hours. It is now several months later and I have yet to receive it. I’ve followed up numerous times and have been passed from one person to another with vague excuses about “issues with accounts.” At this point, it feels like I’m being deliberately ignored. The lack of accountability and basic customer service is appalling

Really sad end , i have been taking my car to chelmsford mercedes for many years for both services and repairs , never any issue until now. Although have had expensive repairs in the past nox sensor etc .anyway My mistake was putting adblue into my bluetec C220 as the top up adblue message came up on display ..never done it before so im guessing it was always topped up during services . Put 10l in ..display still said top up so I put another 10l in well nearly did not quite take it all... so completely full ... display still saying top up .. so took it to merc chelmsford ..staff were initially very helpful and whipped it round to the workshop..said it was overfilled ...which can effect the sensor..needs to have adblue removed and put back in ..to fix it ..booked it in to have it done was told \xa3230 approx.. ..i left it with them early morning and it was not looked at the first day so kept for an additional day ( this has happened the last three times I have booked in for repair was informed late afternoon) 2nd day i was called around midday to confirm what my car was going in for ? I felt like i must have Imagined my car being taken round to the workshop two weeks prior ..nobody seemed to know anything about it ??? I was Called late afternoon not by the workshop but by reception...the top up adblue light us still on ..needs electrical testing ..\xa3300 plus.. if that does not work its a further \xa32065 plus vat for a new adblue tank .. All this because I topped up the adblue? Topped up a tank that has no gauge!!! So potentially looking at \xa33000.. At no stage was i offered a courtesy car..when I asked for one I was told there is none available... at no stage was there a discussion or suggestion of upgrading my car for a newer model.. just the sad acknowledgement from the lady that im not going to spend \xa33000 on my 2015 car. The funny thing is I was intending to get a newer model from them this year ..I even encouraged my son to use them and buy a car from them which he did...but after this I think I will give a different manufacturer a go. And hope to get treated better.. PS they did knock off \xa350 for the "repair" adblue out and back in ...

My new white A-Class is an absolute dream to drive, and I couldn’t be happier with my choice—but more than that, I’m grateful that I had someone like Brandon guiding me through the process. If you’re considering buying a Mercedes, I 100% recommend asking for Brandon. He made what could have been a stressful decision into a truly enjoyable and memorable experience. I would not recommend this branch. They sold me a car with punctured tyres. I had to complain to Mercedes head office to get the tyres changed. And after a few months I found out the car they sold me which was supposed to have full service history, was actually missing one year of service. Terrible customer service.

Terrible rain and I needed a new windscreen wiper fitted ASAP as we off on a journey away for the weekend. No where had them in stock but Chelmsford Mercedes luckily did. They also kindly fitted them for me, at no charge, as it’s a new car and I didn’t know how to. My first Mercedes car and my first experience of the Chelmsford team. Brilliant, kind and welcoming!! Better than all my years buying BMW’s!!
