I have never been more humiliated in my life at the Warrington branch. I brought my car in for it's MOT and then a salesman came to me and said the mechanic was ill in my car, just driving it from the parking space to the garage. Now I do own dogs and I had cleaned and hoovered the car before the appointment. This is when I was told the car needs to be valeted before he will work on it. Last time I checked most of an MOT is outside the car. I had to either take it away and get it cleaned or they would do it before this mechanic would do my MOT. I was disgusted with the way I was treated and spoken to. I will not apologise for owning dogs and sometimes yes you do get immune to the smell. But to be told your car is making someone violently ill was absolutely disgusting and I will never return to Synter Select in my life. The car could not have been that bad at all as I sold it this week. Just giving 1 star is too much.

Sytner Group – A Let Down to the Motor Trade As someone who operates in the motor trade professionally, it takes a lot for me to go public with a complaint—but the level of service I’ve just experienced from Sytner Select Warrington, part of the Sytner Group, has been unacceptable and has directly impacted my business, both financially and reputationally. I initially spoke with Darren Kitching, followed by Adam (who I’m told is his manager), and finally Martin Clever. The issue revolves around a vehicle I had been chasing for over a week. Despite the reserve not being met, I was led to believe there was still a chance to acquire the vehicle. I followed up diligently, made multiple attempts to secure it, and even took a deposit from my own customer in good faith. Only today—after being ignored for days—was I informed by Martin that the car has now been transported to yet another auction, without any warning, discussion, or consideration for the situation I’d been placed in. This level of disregard is shocking from a group as large and (supposedly) reputable as Sytner. To summarise: * I chased the vehicle for days. * Took a deposit from a customer, believing Sytner would act professionally. * Was finally told—without consultation—that the car was sent to auction. * Followed up with professional messages asking for a solution. * Was ignored for two days before a brief phone call today that offered no resolution, just confirmation the vehicle is now going elsewhere. This situation has left me out of pocket and embarrassed in front of a customer I gave my word to. For a company of Sytner’s stature to behave in such a careless, unprofessional manner is nothing short of disgraceful. To all my fellow traders: exercise caution when dealing with Sytner Select Warrington. This is the level of “support” and “integrity” they offer to motor traders. I gave them every chance to resolve this behind closed doors, but they’ve shown me nothing but poor communication, empty promises, and zero accountability.

Disappointing Experience with the Land Rover Defender 130 I recently visited to view a Land Rover Defender 130 in burgundy, and unfortunately, the experience was disappointing from the start. The vehicle had an extremely unpleasant smell and was in poor condition, with noticeable scratches both inside and out—none of which were disclosed on the website. Despite offering a body shop service, it turned out they only provide a basic polish, which does nothing to address the more serious issues. When I raised concerns, I was told they “don’t want to send off a car looking brand new,” which was quite surprising. Unlike other dealerships that take pride in preparing cars for sale and tailoring services to customer needs, this company seemed uninterested in improving the vehicle’s condition prior to sale. To make matters worse, the pricing was not negotiable despite the poor state of the car, and the price remained high. I had also mentioned wanting to come in around midday, assuming it was a flexible drop-in. Only on the day did I learn that they had booked a set appointment at 12 without clearly communicating that in advance. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend purchasing a car from here—especially if you’re travelling from a distance. The lack of transparency, poor vehicle condition, and inflexible pricing made the trip a waste of time.
