Just purchased a Ford Fiesta for my daughters 21st birthday and after a few weekends of looking for a car for her in some really awful car dealers and after a lot of wasted time with salesmen who are quite clearly only interested in the sale and your money and not interested in the customer I then spotted, by chance, driving home with a very unhappy daughter just what I wanted at Lancashire Ford in Ormskirk on Hayfield road. What an absolute breath of fresh air from start to finish. We met Matty who originally went round the car with us and let us take the car out who was very polite with us and my daughter and was very accomodating. We went back for a second look a few days later and met Daniel who sold us the car in the end and was also very polite. Professional, accomodating and very helpful with a number of things where we needed some assistance and he was a pleasure to deal with. I’ve bought some cars in my time and I have not come across such a personable, professional, considerate and polite team of people in a very long time. Just the couple of things which needed sorting out before I could take the car were sorted out and I didn’t even have to chase Daniel up to make sure these things were right, he was way ahead of me. Upon picking the car up it had been fully valeted and was spotless and everything that Daniel said he would do he did. Daniel went through all the paperwork and warranties with us and was very clear on everything. This review is very deserving and I was that impressed with Daniel, Matty and even the MD Dave that I had to tell them before I left on how good a service they had delivered to me and my daughter and that they had made me one very happy dad on my daughters birthday. Keep up the excellent work and you fully deserve this review. I will be recommending you to many people who are looking for such a good service from a nice team of people well done!!!

Always polite and efficient. Service staff were excellent, couldn’t do enough for you. The service engineer department explained what the problem was when my vehicle failed the MOT and what was being done to resolve the problem

We have just picked up our Ford B-max after having damage (done by someone else!) repaired at the excellent body shop there. The finish across the front of the car is just like new, you wouldn't know anything had ever happened to it. It was the same last year when someone keyed along both of the passenger doors. We knew which side the damage was on, but visually there was no difference after it came back from Lancashire Auto. Dealing with them is a most pleasant experience all round.

I want to say that this is the worst place I've ever been to, contacting the company and agreeing that they can take my car for repair, the reason is that the engine did not start. I brought them the car on February 7, 2024, within a week they did diagnostics, after which it turned out the reason that one of the control units does not get in touch, decided to order a new one, the parcel arrived in a month, after installation they could not start the car and said that they needed to order another control unit, which I agreed. In April, they received a letter from Ford stating that they could not bring this spare part at the moment, they offered to use an alternative, to which the serviceman Mike did not respond and continued to promise that the unit would arrive soon. In September, having received a letter from Ford that they would be able to bring the unit no earlier than 2025, they agreed to an independent diagnosis of my ECU. After a week, the unit came back from another service in which they did not identify any problems and clarified that the unit was fully operational. After their attempts to repair my car on October 25, 2024, they said they couldn't repair it and I had to take the car back while paying for the work they had done. After taking the car from the service, the battery was completely discharged, some wires are not hidden ... If I could give 0 stars to this company, I would do it several times. Be careful with this service

I bought a car over the phone with Daniel and I have to say what an absolute pleasure daniel and this company was to deal with. The car was exactly as it was advertised immaculate and ready to drive away. The process was seamless. I also had the pleasure of meeting Mike woods in the service department who again was an absolute credit to the business. Business like this are very hard to find, honest, friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. Thanks again Daniel and Mike, see you again when I need to renew my car.

I have used Lancs auto for many years both with buying cars and servicing. Never had any problems or complaints with work carried out. Will continue to offer them business, just a same they do not sell new vehicles anymore which may force a change in the future when I'm in the market for replacement cars.

I dealt with Daniel Cornish at Lancashire Autos. I was looking for a low milage diesel Volvo XC60 with manual gearbox, and I had been searching for quite some time when I came across the vehicle I wanted at Lancashire Autos. I live in southwest Wales, and so visiting to test drive the vehicle was not easily feasible for me. Daniel spoke with me in depth about the vehicle and answered any questions I had. He did not endlessly ring me pestering me to buy the car as so many garages do. I organised an AA inspection of the car and test drive, and all was well on that report. I arranged to place a deposit at that point and agreed with Daniel that the balance would be paid after satisfying myself that the car was right for me once I could physically get up to Lancashire Autos. I went up in June 2024, test drove and inspected the car, and all was well. I then paid the balance, Daniel took care of road tax and documentation and I drove away that day. At no point has there been any "hard sell." I found Daniel helpful and efficient. The car has given no trouble (I've covered 4,000 miles in 3 months). I thought I'd delay review to see if any problems arose, but they haven't. I would recommend this garage- fuss free, efficient, no hard-sell, and a good car. Thanks Lancashire Autos.

Dissatisfied customer, Bought a used car from them which it turned out was not properly prepared for sale. When faults arose, from day one, failed to rectify them correctly and didn’t provide invoices for repairs supposedly carried out. Warranty provided didn’t cover main issue, carboned up cyclinders, and when contacted for resolution failed to assist. Potential buyers beware.
