A true icon of the W108 series and a car that represents the height of German engineering and luxury in the early 1970s. This particular car was originally supplied as a UK right hand drive car before being exported to the United States, (believed to be relocated with a British oil industry professional) to the dry climate of Arizona. Where the car remained before being repatriated to the UK in early 2017, where it has since been garaged and enjoyed for occasional weekend use.Power comes from the super smooth M130 2.8 litre inline six, known for its reliability and refinement, paired with the original column shift automatic transmission. The car remains in excellent health, with recent work including reconditioned brake calipers, oil and filter change, and a full mechanical checkover. A first time MOT pass was just recored with no advisories. There are no oil leaks present and the car starts with ease every time. The interior is a really lovely place to be. The green upholstery is beautifully retro and is in wonderful original condition.
