Communication is very poor, we bought the car a month ago, and we were given just one key instead of two. Despite phoning many times to find out where our 2nd key was, nobody seemed to know. Finally our salesman told us he had the key in his possession and was going to post it to the Ayr branch for us to collect it, after 4 days we went there to get the key, and the Ayr Vertu branch knew nothing about it. After another phone call to Hamilton branch they said it had arrived ay Ayr. We went there to collect the key, and it was only the key blade, not the remote. The Ayr branch have had to order the key, and at this time, we were told it will take another 10 days to arrive, so we are still waiting to receive our 2nd key, which my wife needs, so she can also drive the car. We have been extremely frustrated and fed up by the lack of communication by the Hamilton branch, who after many calls to them and being told that they would call us back, twice as a priority and another as urgent, yet nobody bothered to call us back. Yes we were fobbed off many times, why, I don't know. Every time we phoned the Hamilton branch we were told, the person was at a meeting, or on holiday, or busy with a customer. we waited for hours for the promised call back, but nobody bothered.
I'd definitely recommend Vertu Toyota Hamilton to friends and family because the staff are very friendly & knowledgeable about their product. Go the extra mile for their customers particular Declan, Andrew & Ewan from the Hamilton branch of Vertu. More than happy to give them my custom again.
I'd recommend Vertu Toyota Hamilton to anyone because it was an excellent experience getting my first car with Vertu Toyota Hamilton. Ewan was very friendly and incredibly helpful, he explained everything I needed to know about the car I was buying and made the process very simple. The car was also amazingly presented when we arrived to collect it. I will be highly recommending to family and friends.
I was happy with the service at Vertu Toyota Hamilton because at no point did I feel pressured to either buy the car or to take out your finance optional extras etc. I was given all the time I needed to go away and think through all my options before making my decision. Only complaint- the coffee out your machine is a bit too strong
