Ford Granada 1979 (T) - MK2 2.0

1 Previous Owner, 1978 Ford Granada 2.0 - 4 speed manual Pre Facelift. RHD import from South Africa with all tax and duty paid. Nova declaration has been done and car is now fully Uk registered. This is a very solid original car which has only had 1 owner from new in South Africa and 1 owner here in the UK. who traded it back in to us for a Mk1 Escort Van.Body - Very original car which has never been welded and is 99.5 percent mint. It has had a touch up on the back lower windscreen panel either side and a rust bleb on the osr quarter below the bumper. Looks like all original panels and mostly original paint. Its Sebring Red and still is very presentable for its age. Good bumpers and trim.Mechanics - original 2.0 pinto which starts and runs as it should and is super quiet. Original 4 speed box. Good brakes and clutch. All lights work It will need a small element of recommissioning as it was parked up in storage for a few years. Rev counter was a bit lazy on first start up but soon sprung into life. Heater motor works and blows hot. Another carb fitted so its better for the UK climate. No power steering fitted to this one.Interior - All original and in very good order. No rips or tears. Its the burn your butt in the summer vinyl type interior. No idea why they fitted that from new in a hot country.... Really tidy car inside.Wheels - Original steels and SA factory hubcaps.This is a lovely original old car which has survived way better than most.
