I recently purchased a 2009 Toyota Auris from this dealer and had an excellent experience throughout the process. The convenience of having the car delivered directly to my door in Exeter was fantastic and saved me considerable time. Jamal, who handled both the sales and delivery, was outstanding. He was friendly, professional, and genuinely pleasant to work with. What impressed me most was that he gave me plenty of time to thoroughly inspect the vehicle without any pressure - a real sign of confidence in what they're selling. I've now owned the car for over a month, and it's been running great. The only minor issue I encountered was needing to replace the battery to get the start/stop functionality working properly, which is fairly typical for a vehicle of this age and nothing unexpected. The overall service, delivery convenience, and quality of the vehicle have exceeded my expectations. I would definitely recommend this dealer to anyone looking for a reliable used car with excellent customer service.

Purchased a Japanese-import Toyota Prius from Eastside Motors. The owner was polite and helpful - allowed us a thorough inspection, test drive and to run a diagnostic scan to check the state of the traction battery. He also kept his word regarding putting some petrol in the tank and giving the car a basic service prior to collection. Pricing was fair - no complaints. I've recommended him to a friend who also wants to buy a Prius. If you don't know much about cars then get someone knowledgable to check the car over for you - this applies whether you buy from a franchised dealer, car supermarket or small dealer.......and especially if you are buying a hybrid, due to their greater complexity.

Avoid . Not trustworthy . PE16EHW . Blown head gasket, they knew… Skoda Octavia . Claimed 66k miles one owner . Has had new shock absorbers already . Also front and rear Discs and pad replace already . Also worst of all. Steam cleaned the engine to hide a blown gasket . Took the oil cap off, it had been cleaned, lucky for me it was a shoddy clean, still traces of cream coloured oil deposits deep in the crevices. Told the owner the head gaskets gone . They said it’s fine just the water from cleaning the engine . Told me it’s under their personal 3 month warranty ( nothing in writing telling you what’s covered etc. so worthless) further investigation when I pulled out the dip stick, coated in oily water. Sure sign it’s got a head gaskets gone issue. There an 800 pound costs. Also all that extra repairs? Experience tells me way over 66k miles . Suggest AA or RAC inspection prior to parting with any money. Bound to reply with some excuse …..
