Called to ask about the cars condition before we drove the 1hr 40mins to view. Was told 'it's a nice car in good condition' but unfortunately that was not the case. Timing chain rattling and engine misfiring, turned the engine off after a couple of minutes then tried to restart but dash lights dimmed and the engine wouldn't turn over. I informed the sales assistant of the issues thinking he may offer some explanation or try address the issues but he just apologised and accepted the key back. Why would you not make regular checks on a vehicle you have advertised for sale to ensure it is in good working order, and especially when someone calls to inform you they are making the 1hr 40 min journey to come to view. The only positive is the sales staff are polite.

Avoid at all costs. Absolutely disgraceful, rude and patronising customer service. He just speaks over you and doesn't let you speak, then he puts the phone down on you. Car was in the garage 7 times in the 4 weeks it was in our possession for the same repairs and then charged for the privilege of being sold a car that was not road worthy (MOT Failure) at point of sale! Test drove a car which upon return we said it needed tracking, balancing and the warning lights for abs and traction control etc came on. We were assured it would be done. Were told 2 days later that the car was ready to pick up and that it had been tracked and plugged in but no problems were found. That night the car was still driving terrible and the tyre pressure light came back on. I checked the tyre pressures to find that one had almost double the tire pressure than the other and none of them were at the correct pressure - it had been tracked like this... Corrected the pressures to then find the tracking was completely out. Just after that, all the warning lights came on again.. a week later with no abs, no traction control and more, the car was finally in at a garage to look at the warning lights that I was promised there was nothing wrong with.. the abs sensor was replaced. 3 times it was sent to the same garage for tracking with no success and none of them even looking into why it wasn't working. Then took it to an independent garage at my own expense to find out it had a broken suspension spring (MOT failure) and that the car had 2 buckled wheels, as well as a headlight sensor link broken (also an MOT failure). Called the dealership to inform them of this and got told this could happen at any time, even though it's not been right since day one. Low and behold the place he kept sending us for the tracking and balancing is the same place he had it mot'd. After finally having the spring replaced much to the dealerships displeasure, I was advised by the mechanic the dealership booked the car into that it had been broken for months with how much corrosion was on it. On day 27 he booked yet another repair for the wishbone bushes which also needed replacing, pushing us over the 28 days. Then after that repair and the car still not driving right, he wanted nothing to do with it as it was now out of the 28 days. And then wanted to charge us almost \xa3600 for added mileage for the shed he sold us, which included a \xa395 valeting fee.. which to add, the car had definitaly not been valeted when we picked it up, but it was clear to see why, with the condition of the paintwork it was hiding.
