I usually only buy from main dealers so was nervous at first from breaking from the norm but I should never of been worried. Coleshill car sales also known as Holly tree trade sales. Initially very nice approachable salesmen, polite and welcoming, however unwilling to resolve serious issues and faults found within the car the day after we purchased it. Service history document initially 'misplaced' still not provided after asking for it for 4 months. Continuous fault findings within the car on the 1st day. Warning light came on, on the way home, Notified dealership of issues and faults, to be told 'boss on holiday' so was prevented from returning the car if we wanted to. Asked consistently for 4 months for service history document, to get a response 4 months later saying 'it's on the settings within the car', even though the dealership knew this wouldnt be the case, as he got the settings on the car reset when telling us to take it to a garage to get the service notification removed and oil removed. Any information on the car settings would have been cleared by the garage at dealers request. Service history document still not available and we feel it has been purposefully hidden from us. We contacted the garage where the car last had an MOT to be told that discs, brakes and rear shock need replacing, dealership would have been notified of this at the time and did not inform us of this, we have had to dig deep to find this information, the car had since done an extra 4000 miles in this state before it was even sold to us, no proof of work being carried out at all, no proof these things have been rectified. Car is squeaking clanking knocking and jerking like mad after 3 trips to the garage and dealer refusing to pay for work. Before we found out the information from the MOT we complained about these issues within the first week, dealership disagreed and said garage is trying to make money. Took car to 3 different garages on 3 different occasions, with all 3 garages saying discs, brakes and rear shock need replacing. Had we of known this, we would not of purchased the car in this state. Wrote a complaint and still awaiting a response, we are now having to escalate this matter further. Unfortunately, i would not recommend this dealership due to selling us a potentially dangerous car making it more costly for us and unwilling to resolve the faults and issues on the car which is how it was when we purchased it. Out of the 4 months we have had the car, it has been in garages for 2, with the work still outstanding on it that was not done by us and was sold to us in this state. Dealership paid for an oil removal, to clear the car settings and a diagnostic which was minor, compared to the real big problems that need fixing on the car. Very disappointed with the level of communication, support and willingness to compromise and come to an agreement with your customers, when knowing that the vehicle had outstanding work needed on it when you sold it to us. What we have identified and discovered is that the sale of this car falls under unfair trade practices within the Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008 and the consumer rights act 2015, it is a real shame that the dealership failed to inform us of of the work needed (brakes,discs and rear shock issues) and chose to still sell the car to us in that condition. I would NOT recommend purchasing a vehicle from this company! Pre sales communication was very engaged, but post sales after issues identified they have shown no interest! I purchased a 21 Plate Mercedes sprinter with 36,000 miles on it for \xa320,000 late January. Immediately following driving it home I notified them of some unusual sounds coming from the engine. The van has yet to be placed into operation in our business as it has been pretty much constantly in the workshop trying to get issues sorted. I notified them I wished to return the vehicle in February but they ignored me. To date the vehicle has done only the drive from Birmingham to Wales and then to the garage. So far the following issues have been dealt with costing me thousands: 1) The front of vehicle had been involved in a serious impact - evidence of considerable damage was found and bodywork in some areas still warped as a result (This is still needing to be rectified and awaiting time body shop availability) 2) The paint job is not coming off where they have sprayed it following the damage and tried to cover up the damage 3) Range of electrical issues 4) New water pump required 5) Breaks all required changing So after three months of purchase I still have not had proper use of this vehicle and it has cost me \xa32000 so far with the body work damage yet to be rectified Incredibly disappointed and I could tell by how the after sales has been handled that they are not in any way interested

I hope people read the reviews as this company is shockingly bad. Bought a very specialised car from them and everything check out on it. The car was delivered to me a week later and they wrecked the front of the car driving it onto the trailer, it caused the bumper to flex and split in several places and the wings to bend out of shape too. Contacted the garage over and over again to get this fixed and all I got was bring the car back to them and leave it with them and they will try and get this fixed. I live 250 miles round trip away and I’m expected to leave the car with them for them to damage it further. In the end I took the bumper off myself at my own cost which was finally collected after I threatened legal action to be repaired. 10 days later I got this back repaired and resprayed but with new damage to it when it was bought back to me in the back of a transit van with just a single piece of bubble wrap half stuck over the front of the bumper to protect it. Clearly didn’t work. So after contacting the garage another couple of times was told to just bring the car back to them and leave it with them as they expected the bumper to get damaged in transit. So what can I say about this cowboy style garage is do t trust what they say as they will say anything to get your business and then not lift a finger to fix any issue. I’m nearly \xa31500 out of pocket due to them damaging the perfectly good car and then just not being at all bothered about fixing it unless I was doing all the driving to and from them. Avoid at all costs and don’t believe a word they say or promise as it will just bite you in the butt.
