This 2013 car is the sought after A200 SPORT model and it is finished in the best colour combination of red exterior with the black and red interior. It really does look sensational.... But, while this car looks sensational, it is also incredibly frugal. The 1.8 litre turbo-diesel engine has BlueEfficiency technology which gives it amazing fuel economy of up to 60mpg - It also means the A-Class has low exhaust emissions which are rewarded by its cheap £35 a year tax bracket. But despite its green-credentials, the 134bhp A200 is both smooth and effective in its power delivery. With a 6 speed gearbox, you are always able to get the power down when needed and that power delivery is reassuringly instantaneous, with a surge of torque that is relentless all the way to the red line. Our car is fitted with Mercedes superb cruise control, which is the best in the business. The car is also fitted with a speed limiter function which is a license saver is built up areas and average speed checks. Thanks to its SPORT suspension and 18" alloy wheels the A200 handles as good as it looks. Turn-in is instant and the grip is fantastic. It's an entertaining drive which easily lives up to the pedigree of this fantastic marque. Step inside the A-Class and you are greeted by a well-finished interior which looks very sporty and welcoming. The stitched leather seats are sporty and very supportive with their deep bolsters. They are generously proportioned though, and provide superb comfort on long journeys. I love the carbon-effect on the dashboard as well as the red highlights such as the air-vents and the stitching on the seats and door panels. The centre console has a large screen display which houses the cars multimedia stereo system, and onboard computer. The chunky, leather-bound steering wheel feels and looks sporty as does the leather and aluminum gear-shifter. While the A-200 has been designed to appeal to the more youthful market, it still has that high-quality Mercedes-Benz feel to remind you this is a premium product. Pete at Ashton's cars was a joy to deal with from start to finish. There is an integrity to this business they you don't get from the big car supermarkets. They trust the cars they are selling and their preparation for you is fantastic. The car we bought (a Mini which they specialise in) was MOTed , with all advisories resolved, serviced and cleaned and delivered to our door. He allows a full test drive , even pointing out some of the issues with the car. And with a generous guarantee on purchase, not sure why you would look elsewhere for a second hand car!!! Thank you Pete, you made my son smile again after a horrendous couple of weeks losing a car and getting an understanding that there are some absolute vultures out there in the car sales world.

Recently purchased a vehicle from Ashton cars from the Newbridge site. Peter was a pleasure to deal with and not at all pushy. After viewing the car, we took it for a test drive and I fell in love with it immediately. I brought along a friend who is a mechanic and he gave the vehicle a once over before I went ahead with the purchase. I paid a small deposit and Peter had the car serviced and delivered to me within two days. He also gave me a very fair price on my Hyundai i30 which I part exchanged. I've contacted Peter twice since purchasing with minor issues and he's resolved things for me immediately. He always returns my calls and seems motivated by customer satisfaction. Excellent service from Peter and from his mechanic. Would not hesitate to buy another vehicle from Ashton cars. Updating my review for Ashtons cars as I've had the car almost a year and it's been absolutely wonderful. In fact, the most reliable vehicle I have ever owned!

Bought a beautiful car at a reasonable price. Pete could see I wanted to take the car on the day and the MOT had not yet been done however, was valid until February 2024. Due to difficulties in getting back to the workshop, Pete suggested I get the MOT done more locally. I did this and the car required minor work such as brake calliper’s etc.. Ashton car sales kept their word and covered the cost with no hesitation. My mechanic stated that apart from the minor wear and tear with the brakes, the vehicle was in mint condition. Amazing costumer service, very professional. Should I need a new car, I wouldn’t hesitate to go back to Ashton car sales.
