The Dacia Duster is all about value for money and the second generation car is one of the best on the market.

It’s one of Britain’s best-selling cars and that’s because the Ford Puma is a great compact SUV.
The Puma sits on the same platform as the old Fiesta supermini, which means it provides decent handling, limited body lean and direct steering.
The Puma is also available with a choice of petrol engines, and it comes with a rather spacious 456-litre boot capacity, which makes it one of the best-in-class for practicality.
Look to spend £12,300 for a 38,000-mile 2021 example in Titanium spec, or £12,600 in sporty ST-Line guise.

Hyundai Kona
The Hyundai Kona is a good-looking, safe and sensible compact SUV that has a lot going for it.
It’s good to drive, comes with plenty of standard equipment and is available with a choice of petrol, hybrid and electric powertrains.
Inside, there are lots of cubby holes for everyone’s bits and pieces, as well as providing a 466-litre boot capacity.
The Kona’s sharp exterior design also stands out from the competition and there is the option of a sportier ‘N Line’ trim, which features larger alloy wheels and unique exterior and interior details.
