I bought the van with finance. Was advised not to go an see my van until the money were paid. Then at some point they told me to pick up my van. Dented roof, rear ended, door stoppers smashed in, cab full with adhesive marks and cigarette burns, under the seats a thick 1 inch layer of mud, a strong smell… But it was already paid… Took it home, and after i spoke with finance company telling them i am not happy about my van, and that i want to return it. Basically i was told that that is not an option because it was after 15 days. Never met a company that does not allow you to see the van before you buy it. I don’t know what agreement they have with the guys from car money, but that is not good business. In my case, was a bad experience Edit to your response: If you mentioned it, i did tell the guys from the finance company when they called me after the purchase was made, i did tell them what is wrong and they said that is nothing that i can do. It has not been 6 months, for the last few months i am going back and forward with carmoney, the broker in this case, and they promised a solution, then they kept asking for more and more things. And the picture that you see, that is exactly how that van left your place. I haven’t done 500 miles with it. And car money has the report from the inspection that they asked for. And the extension of the damage on the van. Update on this matter. After escalating this to financial ombudsman, and after they weighted all evidence, the finance company was held responsible, they can’t hold responsible the seller or the broker, only the finance company as felt in their duty to make sure the vehicle that i am paying for, is up to standards. They took the van away, paid me the deposit back, the monthly instalments and a small amount for “trouble”. There is justice but i had to fight over a year for it.
