Top marks to John and Andrew, found a great example of a slightly rarer car I was looking for, emailed for a viewing on Saturday, John replied on Sunday and I drove up nearly 4hrs from Glasgow to view on Monday. Car was awesome and put a deposit down on the day. Throughout communication was great and it all felt friendly, honest and no massive push to purchase or take out unnecessary finance etc. All works agreed were carried out and the car was valeted to a very good standard ready for collection. My only comment is I'd have liked a longer test drive but I didn't really push to do this, and I can understand why a smaller business would want to protect their stock from test pilots/tyrekickers, unlike Trustford who just threw me the keys to their car.
