I recently purchased a car 71 plate car and was disappointed with the lack of transparency during the process. After receiving the vehicle, I found out it only came with one key, something that was not clearly disclosed in the listing or during any of the communication before purchase. I was later told that a second key is only included if you pay extra for an “Assurance Upgrade,” which I think 2 keys are come with all cars but told all cars are sold with 1 key which is misleading. When I raised this concern, the dealership dismissed it and closed the matter without offering any resolution or goodwill gesture. Most buyers expect two keys unless clearly told otherwise, especially when purchasing from a professional dealership. This experience has left me disappointed and questioning the dealership’s commitment to customer service. If I been told prior to purchase my decision would be diffrent. If you're considering buying here, make sure to double-check everything in writing — including the number of keys — before finalising your purchase or avoid Purchasing.

Bought a SEAT from Pentagon Burton On Trent and during the sales process the salesman, David, was keen to get the sale as you would expect. I asked for the SupaGard to be applied and having paid for it was told that they did not have the floor mats for the vehicle at the moment and would contact me to arrange the vehicle going in once the mats had arrived. I was offered a loan car for the day so that I was not without transport whilst the SupaGard was being applied. However, the vehicle developed an engine fault within the first week! We lost all confidence in the vehicle due to this and I returned it asking for an exchange or refund. I was made to feel like a villain for bringing a faulty car back and was told the general manager would contact me once they had diagnosed the problem. The manager has to this day not contacted me nor apologised for it all. I was not offered a loan car whilst awaiting diagnostics and only received a very short email from David basically saying "still waiting on our service department confirming the fault". He also suggested that I could "trade" the vehicle in for another one at the dealership!! Firstly, I'm entitled to the full value paid so why on Earth would I "trade" it. Secondly, it is clearly faulty (as he witnessed) so I assume they would have offered a price to reflect that. Disgraceful attitude and a very disappointing experience. Fortunately, there is a diamond in the rough there called Amy, who has communicated with me throughout the process of getting a refund and assured it will be issued within 3 working days. Though, that would be by the end of today, so we'll see if that happens. Customer service were CC'd in emails too and replied saying the management team are on the case and will be in contact, this was at the beginning of last week and I have heard nothing since. I would not recommend this dealership based on my experience. But if you really must use them, ask for Amy in sales.
