I booked my Fiat Campervan in for its first service as this is classed as a Fiat Professional place, unfortunately there is nothing professional about it. I called on 5th August to book the vehicle and made sure to mention it was a campervan. No issues. I turned up today to drop the vehicle off only to be told that they do not do campervans due to health and safety. Mistakes happen, but a simple phone call to tell me seemed to be beyond the skill level of this place. A wasted journey in two vehicles of over an hour.

Day and a half to not fix a headlight that I already knew needed replacing. “We’ve ordered the part sir we will ring you to rebook in when it’s here” Apparently warranties don’t work that way so maybe it’s me 🤷♂️ …

Excellent service provided by all who I dealt with at Pentagon's Middleton branch... only too happy to recommend them to others.

DO NOT BUY FROM PENTAGON (03/06/25) Bought new Vivaro in Sept 24, they have had it more then we have. Shocking service, nightmare of communication from Service to the Top General Manager Tim Pollard. After having the vehicle in for over 5 weeks this is how it was returned! Refused to take the vehicle back, not interested after the sale. I have bought hundreds of vehicles in the past, never had such disgusting service. Stay clear. Can’t wait for a response!

Does anyone actually receive responses from the customer care team? We have had zero response to emails sent, (so please don't auto reply telling me to contact customer service!). Ignoring us is a dreadful way to treat customers who have spent hard earned money with your company. Edit update: The dealership were contacted at the same time and so far have still failed to reply!!

This is the first negative review I have ever allocated the time to writing, if 0 stars was an option I would have chosen that. From the diagnostics, to the work carried out on my car, to the customer service & communication, it's all a disaster. My car began to produce a high pitch noise when braking, so I took it into pentagon for diagnostics. I was told that I needed to replace the rear brake pads & discs. As well as the front brake pads, however the front brake discs were fine. I agreed for the works to be carried out and was charged, \xa3657.19. After driving for a day, the noise came back. So I booked back in. I was told that everything was fine and the brakes had been re greased. FOUR times I took my car back in because of the noise, each time to be told there was no issue. So I took it to a different garage for a second opinion. They informed me that because the front pads & discs had not been replaced together ( which is widely recommended ) it was creating a noise. I then had to have both replaced at the new garage, which stopped the noise. I called Pentagon, to explain I was unhappy with not being informed that it is recommended to have pads & discs replaced together. Eventually, after a few weeks of back & forth, I was transferred over to the dealership general manager Tim. Tim informed me over the phone that I should have been informed to have both replaced, and that the issue should have been highlighted much sooner. Not 4 visits in after incurring rental car charges, mileage, petrol, time, etc. I asked for a refund for the work carried out to my car, I thought this was pretty fair. The dealership said no, even after admitting their mistake, and initially offered a \xa375 service voucher. Finally they settled on a \xa3100 refund, no way near the costs I have incurred in fixing the issue that could have been easily avoided had the 'experts' recommended the appropriate works. Will never touch a Pentagon ever again.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE I don’t normally write reviews but I want to make people aware of how bad this experience has been. I’ve had an emissions fault since the end of February with the vehicle and they have told me it’s 3 different things. They changed 3 parts at a cost of nearly 1k and the vehicle is exactly the same. The last thing they told me it was is the adblue tank needs changing at a cost of \xa32500. I called Vauxhall and they said this will be covered under a special warranty. The dealership said they don’t believe it is and won’t do the work. I’ve been calling Vauxhall and Pentagon for nearly a month now and I’m having to take the vehicle elsewhere. I could pay the \xa32500 but I’m not convinced they know what they are doing and this still might not clear the problem. After the first part was replaced and it didn’t fix the problem (around \xa3600) the mechanic told me this doesn’t always fix the problem but they try it. I explained to him I should have been given this information before the work not after. You would rightly assume that if they tell you what the fault is and they charge you for a part and labour the problem would be fixed. Where would this end. Again, I don’t normally write reviews but please do not take your vehicle here. It’s cost me 1k, countless hours going back and over 30 phones calls for them to not fix the problem.

STAY CLEAR Terrible service Absolutely shocking customer service. Vauxhall Vivaro interimtent missfire. Dropped off June 17th for two weeks to fix the misfire, collected the van. Told it just needed a system reset and is fixed \xa3100 Paid. On the journey home started to misfire. Dropped van off again on the 15th August for two weeks. Told it needed an injector \xa3664.16 and it's fixed. Paid. A couple of days later missfiring again. Dropped van of 26th Sep for a week. Discussed this is the third time they have had had the van and to make sure its fixed. Quoted \xa31524.26 By Gordon Smith service chap said it was the cooling plug port leaking water into the cylinder causing a misfire. Either Gordon Smith is lying con man or incompetent, this part couldn't possibly leak water into the engine as it's not attached to the engine. I asked Gordon how is this possible, he replied its a gasket. I asked for the gasket part number and he dissapeared into the back. Shortly afterwards he returned with a technician. After speaking to the technician he stated the cooling plug port couldn't leak water into the engine "it is an internal leak in the water system" and this wouldn't cause a misfire. He then informed me he wasn't aware the vehicle had been brought in for a misfire. At this point i was, well lets just say not very happy. After a brief discussion about the lack of communication between the booking in staff and workshop staff, I left with the agreement I would bring the vehicle back for a live data road test to find the problem. I have phoned Pentagon Middelton three times over three weeks to arrange this and has absolutely no response. If anyone from senior management would like to discuss this matter feel free to contact me. Kind Regards \xa3764.16 out of pocket with a misfire Update Taken van to Greenwood motor services in two hours fault found and fixed, loose connection on injector No1. So Pentagon changed my injector and it was only a loose connection 😡😡😡
