My advice is based on my ongoing problems with Cartime Bury and is please THINK TWICE before making a purchase and make sure you fully check everything out, I wish I had. I purchased a Tesla having travelled a distance following telephone calls with their salesman Paul and assurances that the vehicle would be ready to drive away should a sale be agreed only to find on arrival it needed a new windscreen. Reluctantly, I agreed to test drive it, as I had travelled for nearly three hours. On the drive I really liked the car so agreed the deal. My part ex was in excellent condition and they agreed to deliver the Tesla to me and drive my car back when the windscreen had been replaced. I was going on holiday that weekend so delivery took place on the Friday as I travelled early Saturday morning. Handover was extremely rushed due to the driver (owners brother) wanting to get back on road to help his mum, being in the care profession this I duly understood and appreciated. As soon as I took the car out I found that the heating didn’t work at all. Other faults such as the poor pre valet of the car and broken buttons to passenger seat along with what I think was windscreen glue on dash board i decided the car needed to go back and it was returned on the Monday by my son at my cost so that diagnostic/repairs could happen while I was away for two weeks, I told them I need a car to get to work. They said if they needed it longer they would sort a car for me (still waiting for that one) Limited to NO COMMUNICATION at all on progress of vehicle. I retuned from holiday and still no update, even though I had been emailed to say I would get one. No one seems to answer my calls for an update. The only communication l have really is via email when they bother to reply that is. Empty promises of support. No updates and terrible after sales is my ongoing experience . Furthermore, despite saying they would give me a definitive date for the defect being fixed and car ready to be returned to me in a satisfactory condition by the evening of 14th April I am still waiting !!!!!!!!!!! WHAT A SURPRISE!!! I will refer this to the ombudsman if I have too and plan to take some legal advice as technically I am still within my 30 days short term rejection period having not explicitly waived my rights even with agreeing the repair. Despite Cartime saying they will not accept the rejection as repairs have commenced I do intend to seek legal clarification on this if no resolution by end of this week. Unfortunate really because I do like the car. Its a shame they cannot provide the service they so advertise they do. Make your own mind up - but this is my experience and appreciate everyone’s may not be the same. Stress, raised anxiety along with pure frustration and lastly out of pocket costs with no car having spent over 16k DISGRACE
I spoke to a manager regarding a specific car make and model and to my understanding the manager was a amateur in Sales he was extremely under experienced in his job role who appointed him as a manager rudeness and attitudes doesn’t run a good business and Jamie as a manager is sinking the boat my advice would be never buy from a place that disrespects you as a customer he didn’t want a Sale and the company should look into this that would be my opinion never go Nelson Car time waste of petrol and time give respect get respect.
Car was filthy chipped windscreen bad sales people.went to pic car up at 12.30 got car at 530 all rushed in the end it was raining so couldn't examine the car properly when I got home noticed a chipped windscreen the car was filthy and when there cleaning products smell wore of the car smells really bad cost me nearly 400 to put right they offered me 50 pound I told them to keep it. Don't buy a car from these or you will regret it they don't care once car is sold plus I had to pay for my logbook stay clear go to a proper car dealership
A dodgy second hand car dealship selling dodgy cars. If you buy a car from here it's pot luck that you'll get a car thats got no issues. The 62 point car check they claim to do is a load of rubbish, they will 'miss' the most basic things and when things go wrong on your side they aren't interested. Even if you've owned the car 1 day. If they actually checked their vehicles properly this would save them and the customer a lot of hassle. They are quick to take your money but wont entertain anything if you are having issues with the car. If you're even considering buying a car from here, bring an OBD reader, a mechanic and have a decent length test drive. Check all the gaps inbetween the bonnet and all the panels to check it hasn't been in an accident. This place reminds me of the car dealership off matilda. These cowboys dont care if you lose thousands of pounds through repairs after they sell you the vehicle. Be warned people..
