On a combined cycle Audi claim an average of 62 mpg which is incredible for such a large and comfortable car. The other pay-off for the A4's green credentials is low road tax at just £35 a year. Its not all economy without any power though.. Thanks to a whopping 320 n/m of torque, produced at very low revs our Audi is a very relaxing car to drive, and it cruises effortlessly with very little engine or wind noise. The factory cruise control on this SE model makes it a very capable long-distance cruiser. I could easily cover huge distances in this car - The driving position is excellent and visibility is superb - Its an easy and rewarding car to drive, and feels as though it has been built to last. With ABS brakes and ESP stability control the A4 is not just a pretty face - It offers up superb handling and roadholding which are guaranteed to please the keen driver, as well as those who want comfort and luxury. I am always impressed by the quality of these cars. Our A4 feels tight and well screwed together. The whole car still feels as new with breathtaking performance and superb road-holding. The change on the 6-speed gearbox is slick and very smooth, the steering well weighted and precise. I particularly enjoyed the factory fitted cruise control which comes on the SE model. Cruise is not a standard feature on all A4's but it should be! It makes the car far more enjoyable on long journeys and is one of my favourite features on this SE model. The car has covered 98k miles but it shows virtually no sign of adverse wear and still looks a very modern and fresh design. The SE model of A4 gives this car a superb specification which includes front fog lamps and cruise control. The interior features a multi-function steering wheel, comfortable multi-adjustable seats and aluminium embellishment trim which enhances the cars waistline. There are front and rear arm-rests which add to the feeling of comfort and luxury an electronic handbrake, operated from a simple switch which is mounted on the centre console. This car has built in bluetooth for your phone along with automatic headlamps and wipers. It is a very easy and rewarding car to drive. It is also extremely safe with ESP stability control and huge ABS brakes which have excellent feel and immense power. Our SE model has the built in park distance sensors to aid reversing. The Audi's interior is a lesson in excellent design and build quality. All the interior fittings are constructed of high quality materials that are well put together - the whole car feels as though it were built to last.
