Rare Dolomite Sprint / Folder of History
1975 Triumph Dolomite Sprint finished in British racing green with black vinyl roof and Webasto sun roof. Has been out the country a few years uk reg is JLL 624N which is what it will revert to. 4 speed manual gearbox with overdrive on 3rd and 4th gears. Very original with large history file , looks very presentable considering is is now 50 years old. Interior is period correct with Radio cassette player. Seats are in great condition and are very comfortable. Stainless steel exhaust system with the iconic sprint twin tailpipes. Runs and drives very well and is surprisingly quick. 1975 was the year that the Dolomite Sprint won the British Touring Car Championship. A very presentable and useable appreciating classic with a good competition history as well as appearing in the first series of The Professionals with Bodie and Doyle. For the fraction of the price of an Escort RS2000 or Capri 3.0S. It was also the first mass produced multi valve engine giving a 0-60 time of 8.4 seconds and a top speed of 119 mph which was quicker than the later Ford Escort RS2000 MK2. Mileage not warranted.
