I bought a 4 Series 420d from these guys a while back. They delivered the car to me 200 miles away in Essex for a reasonable fee, had the car 3 days and I had an engine management light stuck on. They agreed to send me a hire car all the way from South Wales, and dealt with the issue admirably with the utmost professionalism. Upon returning the car, i noticed a scuff on one of my wheels that was most likely done in the BMW dealers that they deal with, they were more than happy though for me to get it sorted and invoice them for the refurbishment. All the staff here are absolutely amazing; extremely personable, in particular the two Jay's and Nick of whom I got to know quite well due to calling a few times regarding the sale, etc. They are delightful people and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. So definitely 5 stars for me.

Full Story: I’ll admit, I was a little hesitant at first after reading a couple of the lower-starred reviews. But the car ticked all the boxes (a 2017 Range Rover SV Autobiography at a very fair price (~\xa340k)) so I decided to go for it. I’m very glad I did. We live about four hours away from AutoUnit, so I spoke with Jay several times before making the trip. He was brilliant, responsive, transparent, and happy to answer all my questions. Everything I asked for was sent over straight away, and nothing ever seemed like too much trouble. On the day of the purchase, we drove down to view the car. We spent a couple of hours thoroughly inspecting it and taking it for a test drive. Jay was there throughout, helpful but never pushy. In the end, we paid and left genuinely happy with the experience. A few days later, I took the car to my local Land Rover dealership for a full health check. They flagged a few issues (cracking CV boots, some worn bushings, and a clicking sound from the driveshaft). I got in touch with Jay and the team, and honestly, they couldn’t have handled it better. I dropped the car back to them that Sunday, was given a courtesy vehicle, and within the week, everything had been sorted. I picked the car up the following Saturday in perfect condition. I really can’t thank Jay and the AutoUnit team enough. They provided a truly personal service and made the entire experience smooth, fair, and professional. Even when things weren’t perfect, they stepped up and resolved everything quickly and without fuss. We’ll absolutely be back when it’s time for our next car. The eight-hour round trip was more than worth it.
