Staff were very friendly on arrival. Car was ready for a test drive when I arrived even though I had made no appointment time. Purchasing the car was easy with no faff, everything explained clearly. Very impressed!

I bought a vehicle from Abbey motors back in January.Very pleased with the customer service.My vehicle had an issue with the alarm so I rang these guys up and they said bring it along…..nearly SEVEN months later and they found the fault….obviously taking it to there garage guys and it was a battery issue.These amazing guys only charged me for a battery at cost price(which they didn’t have to do) and forfeited the garage labour charges.Bearing in mind my vehicle is out of warranty!.If your looking for a used car see these guys.I can’t thank them enough for their after sales service.A big thankyou.

I generally do not leave reviews but felt it is only right given my experience; I want to highlight Spencer and Steve for genuine world-class service. Brief overview of my recent purchase of a Mercedes E-Class from Spencer/Steve at Abbey Motors below: I have previously only bought my cars from main dealers only and was cautious about going to a private dealer. They were absolutely brilliant, very straight-forward, honest & fair! They had even arranged a couple things to be actioned on the car for me to help accommodate my requests. I am very glad I bought my car from them & not a main dealers this time. I also had one small issue with the car, through no fault of Abbey Motor's I must say, they were VERY responsive with their communications even to the point where my call keep cutting out due to bad signal and they kept following up with me to try to call me again. They had given me a timeframe to fix the car, they gave me a courtesy car and repaired the car quick, and hasn't missed a beat since. They were very apologetic also for the issues. Good customer service is very rare these days and Spencer/Steve were absolute gentlemen from purchasing to handling issues, I am very grateful to them and will definitely purchase from Abbey Motors again.

I recently bought a Mercedes CL500 from this dealership, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the entire experience. I travelled down south to collect the car and drove it all the way back up to Edinburgh – the drive was flawless, and the car performed beautifully. From the very beginning, communication was exceptional. Every question I asked was answered quickly and honestly. They went above and beyond by sending all the photos I requested, including detailed shots of the underside, which really showed their transparency and professionalism. The whole process felt smooth, stress-free, and trustworthy. It’s clear these guys care about what they do and stand behind the cars they sell. Bought a car a couple of months ago from these guys. Overall experience has been exceptional. Had a few minor issues that came to light after purchase but they were resolved quickly and professionally. Very helpful from start to finish. Having bought a car (Kamiq) from Abbey Motors ( Colchester), We wholeheartedly agree with the other positive reviews. The customer service was amazing! We cannot fault Abbey Motors in any way. Spencer was superb throughout the whole purchase and true to his word in every detail. We felt we were in very safe hands right from the initial phone call. We would not hesitate to buy from Steve and Spencer again in the future. The car is in excellent condition and by far the best we have seen. The whole purchase went smoothly and living 2 hours away did not hinder it in anyway.
