      DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE We bought a car from them 11 months ago, having asked 2 key questions: has it been in an accident, has the known issue of the timing belt been dealt with recently. We were told the right answer to both, so bought it with the confidence the car was in a good state. We paid a top end price for a very low spec example, so you’d expect it to be in top knick. 11 months later for the MOT, numerous failures including headlight alignment which can’t be adjusted as a result of a clear accident, and the timing belt’s knackered. Have Poole Bay Motors helped? No, every little legal backdoor they can use to get out of paying a penny, they have. We have no evidence that they said it wasn’t in an accident, and no evidence they said the timing chain was done. So therefore, they get off scot free and we’re left scrambling to pay thousands to fix the car while paying off the finance and everything else. A man’s word is nothing anymore apparently.. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE. Go somewhere else, and read up on them first.

      I just bought a very nice A3 from Poole bay motors! I was so impressed I just had to have it! Andrew who help me and was with me on my test drive was so warm and welcoming, I just told him straight, no funny business (not in those words) but you know what I mean, and he was so perfect about everything. The lovely lady and chap also present in the office were also very nice ( sorry I didn’t get their names but I think they were the owners) super friendly. I’m so happy I bought my new car from here, couldn’t be happier! Thank you guys.

      Found a great Citroen Berlingo at this garage on line Andrew and his team were great they provided a walk around video were most helpful and gave me all the information I needed and carried out service work before delivery the car to Swansea a fantastic service. I received the car today and was delighted by the condition. I thoroughly recommend them

      Dishonest and Overpriced I took my girlfriend’s car to Poole Bay Motors for an MOT, and they failed it, claiming it needed \xa3800 worth of repairs, including: Both track rod ends replacement: \xa3170.00 Both front shock absorbers replacement: \xa3610.00 TPMS tyre pressures and reset: Free of charge (FOC) MOT cost: \xa350.00 The quote seemed excessive, so I took the car to another garage for a second opinion. To my shock, they informed me that only one track rod end needed replacing, and the shock absorbers were not leaking oil at all, contrary to what Poole Bay Motors claimed. This confirmed that Poole Bay Motors had blatantly lied about parts needing replacement to justify failing the MOT. It’s clear they were trying to take advantage of the situation to upsell unnecessary work. This level of dishonesty is unacceptable, and I will never be using their services again. If you value honesty and fair pricing, avoid Poole Bay Motors at all costs.
