      Description

1 Previous Owner, Browns of Richmond are delighted to offer this super Nissan Leaf 40 kWh N-Connecta. A true pioneer in the world of electric vehicles, the Leaf laid the groundwork of awareness and employed early technology that has since been developed into the modern day EVs. The Leaf was pretty much the first mass produced dedicated EV with no other drive train in mind. Engineers chose to mount the high voltage battery low in the car, incorporating it into the floor pan, this meant that the centre of gravity is kept low improving the handling characteristics of the car. It makes perfect sense to do so, and many other battery electric vehicles have followed suit since. This 2nd generation Leaf got a 40-kWh battery which was good for a very useable range of around 120 - 145 Miles. Its purely front wheel drive and has an output of a little over 150 bhp. Its not the fastest car in the world and neither will it go the furthest, however, this car will cost you under £11000 to buy, costs £2.80 to charge from 0 to 100% on the right EV tariff. Yes, it wont got as far as a petrol or diesel car but how far would they go for £2.80 worth of fuel? I guarantee it wouldnt be 140 Miles! For someone whos has a minimal daily commute that perhaps chokes up their current car you neednt worry about DPFs or GPFs the leaf is infinitely reliable and is so cost effective as a short-range electric vehicle. There are huge advantages to going EV, gaining access to a cheap rate electricity tariff for your EV could enable you to charge this car fully for as little as £2.80 And with a very achievable real-world range of 145 miles that equates to a mere 2 pence per mile, I know of no other car for this kind of money as cost effective as that. Here at Browns, we consider ourselves as EV experts and will happily answer any and all questions you might have regarding an alternative fuel transition Finished in Gunmetal Grey we think it looks great, particularly with the synthetic half leather interior, a lot of time and money was spent improving the feel of the interior from the 1st to the 2nd generation cr. We think Nissan did a great job, occupants are treated to a high-quality feel with a surprisingly high level of technology, cruise control, sat nav, 360 parking camera, Bluetooth phone prep and climate control! Having covered an incredibly low 17790 miles this car is in great condition, whilst the 1st generation car gives an indicative battery health on the display the 2nd gener
