I can honestly say Alan was very informative & helpful when dealing with him, and he had a great selection of cars available. 1984 Ford Sierra XR4i in need of restoration. Advertising for one of our customers who has had it a long time, but has decided its time to let go. It was last on the road in 2008. It will need a restoration but underneath is suprisingly good. Body - XR4i 3 door shell. Will need work on one front jacking point area, rest of the floor looks decent. Good inner wings, battery tray will need attention, rust under roof gutter, rear arches under the body kit feel a bit crispy.Paintwork is really dull as not a seena polish for a long time. Mechanics - All looks standard but not been started or ran in a long time. We had it turning over. Someone has been playing about with the distributor, so that neeeds setting up properly. It did run in the customers ownership, so no reason why it wont go again. All other running gear is standard but untested. Interior - All standard. Minor cracks on the dash but not too bad. Good seats, door cards etc. Interior is perfectly useable with a bit of a clean up. I dont remember seeing many of these with a blue interior, so i think its quite rareWheels - Original Allloys with old tyres that would need replacedThis is a great project for the DIYer. If you had to pay someone to do it, then its probably not financially viable. You are welcome to come and see the car. We have a ramp so you can look underneath. Delivery can be arranged if required.
