Bought a VW polo from Stevenage Cars and the whole experience was very pleasant. Scott was very friendly and we didn’t feel pressured at all and he even trusted us to take the car for a test drive on our own so we could get a feel for if it was right for us. There was a stone chip on the bonnet that had been filled in in the wrong colour by the previous owner and he even took that off and used the correct colour so it blended in much better. All in all we felt very comfortable with Scott and would recommend Stevenage Cars.

Went to see the R8 they have. It was a very strange experience. They were pretty combative when i asked to test drive it, even after multiple phone calls to discuss the car and a test drive. They refused to even drive it with me as a ride along. Lots of red flags everywhere. I assume there is an issue with it and so trying to wait for someone to buy it without having driven it. All in just not a good vibe. I went elsewhere and purchased one as GSW by Yeovil a few days later. If it really is in good order, you lost a sale by being incredibly difficult.

Bought a red punto for a first car after having visited the lot a couple times. Staff were plenty accommodating and the whole process was simple enough. Had a slight fault with the rear light but they had it fixed within a day without any fuss at all. Great communication, and great place to look if you’re a first time buyer.
