The experience at Motor Match Crewe was good because I was looked after and made welcome by all members of staff i had the pleasure of meeting. Andrew Russell who was the colleague I dealt with was exceptionally nice to deal with and a credit to his company. I felt that every detail was dealt with in a manner I understood and nothing was hidden. I would definitely recommend Motor Match to friends and family with no hesitation and would definitely use them again.
Would’ve given a better review had the stone chips been done when I came to collect and not overlooked. Was told they don’t do handovers at the weekend which was a bit inconvenient. I put a holding deposit on car to then be told after I’d viewed it that someone else had put a holding deposit on it too! Didn’t think that was possible after you’d already put a holding deposit on a car!! However staff were friendly , facilities in showroom good. So far cars good too
I would not recommend Motor Match Crewe because firstly, I had booked an appointment for the car with a time specified and had to wait about 20 minutes for the sales person to come and speak to us - again was greeted very abruptly and basically was asked to see the car alone, it was my first time at a dealership so I had the impression that maybe since I had booked an appointment and had about an hour slot (at least) for the sale person to maybe accompany me when i was viewing the car but it felt very informal, I had to come in and wait for the person to get off call, for her to finish speaking to her colleagues, to ask questions multiple times. Then, when it came for us to discuss pricing, as I had a car to part exchange, they kept us waiting again. The person that was supposed to deal with us were busy with another customer, and we waited another 30 minutes to start discussing pricing. Again, I would not have minded if we had just walked in to the dealership and asked for the car. But I had an appointment, I had places to be and everything got delayed. On top of that, there were a few scratches that they offered to polish off for me. They gave me a date where I could come and pick up my car and leave my old car with them. I had already sorted out insurance for my new car to start on the day. However, this all got derailed when they called me on the day of my collection saying that my car can't be picked up since the scratches aren't off yet. They did offer to deliver the car to me free of charge, but it doesn't take away from the fact that I'm now £250 out of pocket on top of what I paid for the car since I had to cancel my insurance policy (due to some logistics regarding the change of car twice) and having to pay for temporary insurance on the car I was supposed to exchange a few days ago.
