Ford Focus 2018 - 1.0 EcoBoost 125 Titanium 5dr

I visited Vosper Ford Truro recently for a vehicle purchase. The showroom is clean, well-organised, and stocked with a decent range of vehicles both new and used. The location is convenient, and the sales team seem knowledgeable. However, I found the customer service experience a bit underwhelming. Staff were polite but not particularly engaging or proactive. I had to chase updates several times, and at times it felt like I was more invested in the process than they were. There’s potential for a much better customer journey with more attentiveness and clearer communication. I still ended up getting a car from them but it was because they had the car I really wanted. I would say to anyone trying to do business to visit with tempered expectations.

Spoke to a Vospers employee 3-4 days ago regarding an issue with my Ford Transit Custom 2013, he was helpful & advised he can book the vehicle in for 04-08-2025. Shopped around as I need my vehicle for work, an auto-electrician assessed my vehicle today and advised to send it back to a Ford main dealer. Spoke to Vospers again today who this time advised they can’t work on vehicles over 10 years old & have no recollection of my previous conversation. I am not a liar and this pissed me off. They advised I contact DNA servicing in Bodmin. DNA advised Vospers do this all the time because they don’t like working on older vehicles. Pathetic that a Ford main dealer won’t work on a Ford vehicle.

Having been looking for our next used car for a few weeks on many main dealer websites across the South West we found our ideal vehicle at Vospers Truro (Vauxhall Mocca, petrol auto, relatively low mileage and great price!). Used their online reservation to secure the vehicle - fully refundable if later not suitable. Very impressed by the modern, clean dealership building and knew were were dealing with a company with honesty and integrity from the moment we met Charles Dormer who handled the tour of the car features without any pressure, the test drive, sale and pre-delivery preperation and all the warranty/breakdown recovery as a standard part of the sale, smoothly and efficiently - including a few extras on collection! It has been a while since we last purchased a used car but the whole process was a pleasure. I can thoroughly recommend Vospers at Truro and will be our first port of call when looking for our next vehilce (but hopefully not for many years! :-))
