I have no problem with the initial selling of the car. However, I do feel that as soon as the documents were signed and you had a sale, I felt that the attention dropped off. 1. When picking up the vehicle I was not given the attention I would have preferred. On that day, you were having a promotion event. Staff seemed to want to rush through everything, kept disappearing to empty their car for another colleague, talking to other colleagues. I got no proper sit down to go through all the controls as advised in the email I received from you the day before. 2. As part of the deal, it was agreed that mats would be provided. On picking up the vehicle I was informed they were in the boot. When I got home, I found that you have provided old, tatty and muddy mats out of another vehicle and I had no choice but to throw them away and buy new ones from Halfords. I was told that you would compensate me but didn’t hear anything when I sent you proof of sale for the new ones. 3. After picking up the vehicle, it became obvious that no mechanical checks had been undertaken pre delivery. If they had been, it would have been noted that all the tyres were massively under inflated, causing the warning light to come on soon after. One of the tyres was 15psi. 4. I also felt that staff were too concerned in me giving a 5 start review on Google. My star rating, if I did do one, would be a 1
Vertu Škoda Derby were helpful because I had made an appointment to test drive a car at Renault Vertu Derby. I had bought many cars from them. My treatment there was not good. I nearly came home as I was so upset. Instead I walked to the show room nearby which was Škoda. I was treated with curtesy. I had a test drive and bought a car. I am still waiting the the camera to be fitted to the rear and will be phoning them next week. Ryan has been very helpful.
