The Bentley Azure was launched in 1995 and quickly became a distinguished and desirable addition to the Bentley family. The Azure was based on the hugely successful platform of the Continental R Coupe which had itself been launched just a few years before hand. The Azure, as with its fixed roof sibling, graced us once more with both presence and sophistication whilst allowing comfortable seating of four adult passengers in convertible format. Power came from the company's stalwart 6.75 litre, V8 featuring a single intercooled turbocharger producing in the region of 380bhp and capable of 0-60mph in an impressive 6.1 seconds. Owing to the limited space at Bentley's Crewe factory, the Azure was designed and manufactured by Pininfarina, and whilst this significantly added to the vehicle's production cost, the resultant production vehicle was nothing short of stunning. From 1999, the Azure was also available in 'Mulliner Trim' thus allowing the buyer the option for further factory customisation during the build process. Pricing varied as equipment could be significantly different from one car to the next depending on personal preference.First registered on 1st September 2001 by JCT600 Bentley Leeds and finished in Silver Storm metallic, this 6.7 litre Azure boasts a low mileage of just 31,156 and as such is a collectable example of the continental cruiser. Serviced five times by the supplying dealer until 2004 and 10,000 miles, the next two services were carried out by Bentley Crewe. Following this the vehicle was acquired by an independent classic and prestige dealership in Yorkshire who held it in their store for an extended period of time before agreeing the sale to another local customer. Some recommissioning was carried out by Prestige Services in readiness for a road trip to the new owners native home of Italy, one would imagine both the new owner and car itself took equal amounts of pleasure from the experience. Following this trip, the owners requirements changed, and the car was brought back into Bentley Leeds where it was deemed worthy of retail quality and sold to the most recent owner.The services in 2023 and 2025 were carried out by JCT600 Bentley, Leeds along with intermediate maintenance and service work from Bentley specialist Prestige Services in Leeds, details of this can be found within the history file which also includes the stamped service booklet and full book pack. The interiors Cotswold leather finish is complemented beautifully with French navy piping and further enhanced with French navy detail throughout the cabin. Together with dark blue carpeting and hood, this really does present in a classic traditional style for the era. The secondary carpets and hood are all in very good condition for the age, and upon consignment all electrics work as they should. Supplied with a V5C registration document and a current MoT test certificate.
