Recently recommissionedDesirable manual transmission. The 1977 Triumph Stag is a classic British grand tourer that embodies 1970s style and engineering. Designed by Giovanni Michelotti, it features a sleek, elegant body with a distinctive T-bar roof. Powered by a 3.0 litre V8 engine, it offered spirited performance, though reliability issues became notorious. The Stag was built for comfort and long-distance cruising, blending sporty character with luxury. Today, enthusiasts admire it for its unique design, rarity, and status as a quintessential British classic.Originally registered in September 1977, this pleasant example of the ever-popular British classic presents well in green coachwork with a contrasting black interior and alloy wheels. This Triumph is fitted with a desirable manual gearbox which features overdrive. We are informed that this sportscar was fitted with a replacement engine in 2000 and that the car has benefitted from regular servicing. Recent expenditure includes £2,360 spent on recommissioning and we are told that this Stag drives well. Offered to auction with a V5C registration document and a file containing various bills, receipts and previous MoT test certificates, this Stag is ready to be enjoyed by a new owner.
