Insurance Group 0, 0 Previous Owners, This lot will be auctioned via Historics Classic and Sportscar Auctioneers at The Pace of Autumn; Ascot Racecourse sale on Saturday 20th September. Single private ownership from new. Attractive Pentland Green metallic coachwork. Exceptionally low mileage example. The final facelift of the Aston Martin DB9 marked a significant evolution over the original car, blending timeless design with substantial performance and engineering upgrades. Most notably, the 2013 DB9 adopted the advanced VH Gen4 platform from the Virage and DBS, resulting in a stiffer, more refined chassis. Under the bonnet, the updated 5.9 litre AM11 V12 engine now produced 510bhp, a notable increase from the 450bhp of early models, improving acceleration and responsiveness. Carbon ceramic brakes became standard, enhancing stopping power and reducing un-sprung mass. Exterior styling was subtly refreshed with sleeker lines, revised lighting, and a more aggressive front grille. The interior featured a more modern infotainment system and higher-grade materials, elevating cabin luxury. Altogether, this final iteration of the DB9 offered a more dynamic, sophisticated, and powerful grand touring experience while retaining the elegance and character that defined the original. It's a refined evolution of a modern classic. Our vendor purchased this example brand new from Harwoods of Chichester and specified it very tastefully in Pentland Green metallic which really comes alive in the sunlight, with a contrasting magnolia and dark green leather interior. Most of the mileage covered has been on longer journeys, with a few trips being on the continent, where the DB9 is most at home. Our vendor fondly remembers taking the car for a leisurely lap around the Monaco F1 circuit, where the car got a lot of attention as it seemed virtually every other exotic car in Monaco at the time was a Ferrari or Lamborghini, so the Aston Martin really stood out. The condition of the car is of course very good, with just a few blemishes on the front end of the car, but the interior shows very little signs of age or use. For those wanting modern classics with low mileage and ownership, this DB9 really does tick all the boxes and comes to the sale freshly serviced by Harwoods of Chichester and ready for its next custodian.
