Buying a car from Skinners is the best car buying experience i have ever had . I have bought a lot of cars over the last 40 years and the service i received from Paul was the best. The car is bought was great value and a fair price for the PX. They took the dash cam out of my old car and fitted in the new one, no quibble. Purchased a ŠKODA Kamiq from Skinners dealing with both Paul and Stephen. Two excellent guys who went out of their way to ensure the car was to our satisfaction by attending to a couple of minor issues on the car when we collected it. Very trust worthy company, with the cars valeted to a very high standard. Nothing was too much trouble at Skinners. A great local dealer with some lovely cars. Nice to have a warranty for 12 months included in the price!

Went just looking for a car and found the perfect car for me . I Had Stephen from Skinners of rye car sales help me today and I can’t thank him enough . Super professional, friendly and a wonderful guy . Stephen went above and beyond. That man deserves a pay raise!! Super happy with my new car . It’s also my second time purchase a car from skinners of rye . Couldn’t recommend them anymore .

So first of all I dealt with a guy Stephen who was the sales advisor who sold me a car and he assured me everything works and when I was coming home which was a 2 hr journey the side mirrors weren’t working. I then spoke to Stephen and he didn’t wanna pay my mechanic \xa375 to get it repaired instead he got 2 fellas to bring my car all the way back to Rye doing 168 miles putting my miles up and when it’s a 2 hr journey and assured me that it was gonna be picked up on a transporter… there wasn’t one and then lied telling me they don’t do that here. I then explained to him when his guys turned up that if he told me they don’t do that I would’ve said leave it. I left 3/4 tank of petrol in the car and come back with it empty whereas i used there courtesy car and only did a few miles in it. There was no transporter and made out he never mentioned it… purely because he’s a dealer and don’t wanna pay out. He then blamed the fact I had a ghost alarm fitted which was the issue when it wasn’t because I spoke with him on the day they weren’t working but surprise, surprise he forgot. I explained to him I took pics of the mileages on both cars and how much were used and then when i asked him about the petrol money he didn’t wanna pay. So basically I’ve put money into him getting it repaired when it was his fault and “assured me” everything worked. I had pics to prove how much mileage was used read my messages on WhatsApp and completely ignored me. It’s been 3 weeks and still been ignored. Bottom line check the car thoroughly and don’t take there word of mouth. If there is a problem you’ll prob be paying the bill….

Fantastic experience in buying a car online. They arranged delivery to Cornwall, car arrived immaculate and on time. Paul was extremely helpful in arranging the sale, and Alan also who delivered the car. Highly recommended for anyone looking to buy a used car, thank you to everyone at Skinners.
